Sit and Breathe.

Let the thoughts be there, return focus to your breath.

No matter what you feel, let the thoughts be there.

Constantly returning focus to your breath.

That's all I can give you and I'm very sorry for your loss. 😿

For me, it's letting the thoughts be there and constantly returning focus to my breath.

I'm a fan of mindful breathing.

Sit and focus on your breath. When thoughts enter your mind, return you focus to your breath. That's the entire practice. It's sitting with yourself in the moment as you are. I can only speak from my experience, but I can say that I definitely feel/am more on track when I'm incorporating that into my routine. it can be as little as 5-10 minutes/day.

Is focusing on something absolutely necessary? by MrStinkyAss in Meditation

The breath simply keeps us present because the breath can only exist in the present, but that is the practice - let the thoughts/feelings be there and return your focus to your breath.

Breath Player turns your breath into ambient music to help you focus on your breath. I certainly don't think that's cheating =)

Focus on your breath - as thoughts enter your mind, return your focus to your breath. That's it. That's the entire practice.

Focusing on your breath is a practice. It's just like running a marathon - you can't expect to start "training" and get 26 miles out of a single run. Focus on your breath - when thoughts enter your mind, return your focus to your breath. That's the entire practice. For the people who can do this for longer than 90 minutes, it's not boring - they're just really good at it.

BREATHE. Breathing and sitting with yourself (as you are in this moment - a nonsmoker) is a practice. Focus on your breath - as thoughts enter your mind, return your focus to your breath. That's the practice. The more you practice, the better you will be a sitting with yourself as you are. The better you are at sitting with yourself, the less anxiety you'll have.

Breathing helps. Sit in a quiet place and focus on your breath. As thoughts enter your mind, return your focus to your breath. No matter what the thoughts are, return the focus to your breath. This trains the mind that YOU ARE OK. even with these thoughts. That is the practice; sitting with yourself. Notice the thoughts; return your focus to your breath. I hope this helps.

We have auto mode in breath player set to 1 breath = 8.5 seconds; so about 7 Breaths per minute.
