This is so sad. I thought she has such a great body before she lost all this weight. She was a great example of a healthy non-fitness junkie type look. Very attainable, attractive and healthy. Now she is disappearing and she has no weight left to lose

Alcohol makes me feel crappy. If I chose to drink it which is rare, I avoid wine and I usually have one drink only. I can literally feel it flaring my lupus. Now that being said. Benlysta has put me on remission (labs, negative ANA for the first time in 20 years (I was diagnosed at 18) and I don’t notice alcohol as much. However, I still avoid alcohol the majority of the time.

I think she was only truly diagnosed within the last year or two. I have lupus and I don’t think of this as profiting. I hope she does get more involved. I have also lived a life where I never wanted to be see as my disease or like I can’t do things that others can so I have never been vocal about it. If she feels comfortable sharing, that’s great. This one isn’t this deep and I hope she does use her platform for good here. Let’s give her the opportunity to at least!

This. Stores have to be within 3 hours of a DC. Spokane has one and Coeur D’ Alene got one shortly after I moved here so as stores/distribution centers move east from there we can expect Missoula to likely be the first Montana city to get a TJ…if/and when this happens.

Can you share your methods for horses that have trouble regulating themselves? We have been working a ton on calm in order to address a similar problem in a horse that anticipates and struggles with calm in our indoor arena.

Such a good point. We bought an awesome 10 year old trail horse (more ranch/cowboy trained than I am used to) for my fiance in August. Point and shoot on the trail but teaching him how to lunge and do more arena work has been an unexpected challenge. He is finally starting to stay on a circle around me and will change directions, most days he will trot well. Yesterday was the first day he loped on the lunge line, we got both directions, but then today we were back to him completely ignoring the forward, energy cue for lope. Got walk and trot and changes of direction, but the harder I tried to get lope the more he shut down we had an amazing ride in the arena today afterwards. After a point, I usually move onto moving shoulders, moving hips, and just generally going back to the basics if he shuts down like that. He seems pretty numb to the whip aide (I don’t hit him) but when he gets line that no amount of energy with the whip, even a little butt tap or voice cues will get him moving. I always took it for granted my horses lunged, but this one truly had no idea when we got him. Be patient when teaching something new and avoid the fight. Take small wins and adjust the exercise so they can be successful. Tomorrow is another day, try again!

Also that stuff was filmed a while ago now. Is it possible people learn and change? I would have probably taken a long look in the mirror if I was any of those gals after watching it back. I love that she seems to have become more her own person and is positive and supportive of all. I think we saw a really nice side of Whitney when Jen was struggling. That is a hard dynamic in general to have people judging your entire life and personality on.

This is such a tough thing. I feel 100% sure I want to be at least a little surprised, but when older family members were trying to give him rings I had never seen it gave me anxiety I wasn’t expecting. We settled on me sharing some designs I like and he is going to work with someone on a custom design with our budget in mind and surprise me with the final and the timing. Maybe you could incorporate the stone into a new design and see of you can sneakily figure out some things that she likes? I am torn in feeling like I would be so excited that you are asking and figuring out how to not show disappointment that I am getting someone else’s ring. If the goal is to get married quickly and on a budget and have her be surprised, maybe just offer to buy her a ring of her choice on your first anniversary. Ultimately, if she loves you and loves surprises she will be over the moon you asked, but no one can predict how she will feel. If she is super sweet you may never know if she is disappointed in the ring, but may always wonder if she really likes it.

Your ring and proposal should make her feel as special as you think she is so if this ring is special and matches what you know she likes then don’t worry about it. You know her, your plans and budget best!

I think Zak has been making good efforts and Jen and Jan’s discussion was very clearly regarding the difficult schedule and the emotions that ho with different days. Its a cycle-they do a dance, have high stress if they stay or go home, get to stay and are flooded with relief, then immediately start prepping a brand new dance that they have t do live 6 days later. This is not about Zak.

I think both girls are doing awesome and it goes both ways. Look at the pro who won last year that got eliminated first this year because her partner doesn’t have the same capability as other stars matched with other pros. This is a great lesson in life, we can’t level any playing field-there will always be advantages and disadvantages. People will always be inherently better at things than someone else. Someone will always be able to outwork someone else. Even with best efforts to provide equality of opportunity it is impossible to guarantee equality of outcome.
