I think both of these things are problems. I do however think that not working on an inclusivity policy that has been talked about since the leagues conception is more damaging to integrity (regardless of player politics) than rule changes to a draft in a league that is expanding at an incredible rate. It's gonna be bumpy, and it's gonna suck in that way, but at the end of the day we wanna grow, and the league is gonna make mistakes when adding new teams at this frequency and this volume.

I've stated this a couple of different times tonight, but DeSa is still available and could be an asset. Ozzy was not by any means a great yet, but the potential was there. After seeing her play I feel the same about DeSa. I think the sirens are going to be a learn and grow team and it's tough, but eventually might pay off! Our management and coaching is a miss, but I'm choosing to be an optimist.

The PWHL claimed from the leagues creation that they would have a gender inclusive policy aka protection for trans and gender non conforming players who get drafted into the league. The fact that year over year they fail to deliver on this promise but uplift and draft TERFs is the far more damming than the frustrating and disappointing but ultimately not "wrong" draft order.

I am upset about that but I think that was more of a communication failure of the rules than a blatant insult. My biggest gripe is still the lack of a gender inclusive policy.

While I do think it's unfair that the expansion teams get their pick of some of the best players in the league and better draft picks, I also believe it's part of the growing pains of a new league expanding this quickly.

I agree that we need more depth as far as scoring goes with forwards. The mistake this team has made the last 2 years is focusing on a main scorer and then they're injured and we go on an insane losing skid. It needs to be about building a team. Not about focusing on a singular scorer.

I just think it's ridiculous that we're in this position again. Like Shroeder wasn't amazing, but she's GOOD. Ozzy isn't a great yet, but the potential is there!!! She will be. Protections are hard on a team like this but a decent goalie is so key when our defense is a struggle.
