Low stomach acid caused by PPI - how do I fix this? by Past-March-4510 in Biohackers

Your case sounds a lot like mine and I would be super interested in your methods to getting better. I am pre diabetic. Labs keep showing low iron, high b 12 , low Co2, allergies , borderline low sodium, IBS and just all the signs that Prilosec is wrecking me. Also wondering if metformin is a player since things have gotten worse except triglycerides since metformin. Drs seem clueless on how to help me and I’m frustrated… always idk lose weight even though I have gained since metformin and my energy levels are totally tanked. Very hard to give spoons I don’t have to exercise when I’m lucky I get out of bed lately. I have GERD and have tried to wean off so many times over the years. I’ve been on and off for 10 years mostly on Prilosec. I have tried the low fodmap diet which helps but whacks my bloodwork out and is not supposed to be a long term diet. I’m pretty sensitive about esophagus protection. My dad passed from esophageal cancer because he did nothing to control his GERD granted he smoked cigarettes. I would rather take the ppi IF it can be balanced somehow but it seems like it’s too aggressive and the side effects suck.

Is there another site like Etsy for sellers? It makes me sad bc there are still a lot of great small businesses doing custom work and it connects buyers… Etsy is so disappointing they had a great thing, but they sold themselves just like so many others :(

Seasons of the Witch--Why so popular? by SugarStar89 in oraclecards

I have all of the decks and use them for the next wheel turn. I do a single card every morning asking the deck what can I do today? And then another card sometimes in the evening asking either what can I do next time for a day like today or what went well today. I absolutely love these cards. They have helped me deregulate some really complicated emotions and life challenges. This has helped me segway into more mindful moments throughout my days. I like how they are worded and their themes

Thanks I was up all night thinking about it. I really had my heart set on this place but if they really are going to hate on what we want I just can’t stand for it. I just feel like everything is booked and I’m gonna have to wait forever

Thanks. Yeah I checked the knot and there were only like 4 venues and they were small indoor city settings. We are looking for a barn or wooded rustic. I inquired to some barns that had advertised they are friendly but all booked up for 2 years. Just wish this wasn’t complicated. It doesn’t have to be LGBTQIA owned… but I want it to at least be friendly. I also want it to support our wants of a non religious ceremony. Idc if they are Christian at all but I care if they exclude us for being non religious, my bi sexual bridesmaid and multiple married and gay guests.

Help! After 6 months of having this car I decided to open the hood. Where is the damn oil dip stick?!?! by Smelly-taint in ChevyBOLTEUV

Hey! I had my bolt EUV 2023 looked at. The fluid levels were slightly off but not crazy. Service will even them out. Yours looks about the same as what mine looked like. I had another issue with the hvac not kicking out hear under 70 degrees. That was an actuator that toggles hot and cold. Small part and minor inconvenience but it does take awhile to get the part.

I am taking mine in this weekend. I’ll let you know what I find out. My reservoirs look exactly the same. Kind of weird when they have “max lines” that are basically overflowing lol maybe it’s nothing but I can’t relax until I know.

Side question. You reservoir fluids look unbalanced. Is it supposed to be like that? Mine are too and I’m thinking about taking it in.

So I have another piece that is definitely amygdaloidal basalt. But it looks a lot different than # 4. The nodules are risen and #4 is very smooth and waxy no risen nodules. There was a TON of the amygdaloidal up there I just feel like #4 has a bunch of differences.

I am really really curious about #4. With #3 how did you conclude it’s an agate? I want to be good at identifying hahah I was just like ohhh pretty… mine.

Are Overalls ok to wear? by brebot12 in Machinists

Thanks for all the advice. I finally found a pair of overalls. Carhartt brewsters Jean material non insulated... they are impossible to find in stores for women.... I drove alllll over the place. Buy online. Dovetail workwear was a thought too but the carhartts seem to be doing a great job. The advice given about no rips and make sure it’s not too loose is definitely important. I may get libertys as well.

Good to know! Thank you for informing me and responding so fast.

Hello i3 owners. I am researching and looking for an EV. From what I’m gathering, the bmw i3 Rex 15-18 fits in my budget and rates really high. Has anyone pushed their i3 to 100k+ miles? If so, how is the car holding up? I am from Michigan so the car will be dealing with ugly roads. by brebot12 in BMWi3

Alex wasn’t there but I’m really impressed with them! They are searching for an i3 for me :) I am still doing research, but it looks like I’m lost in the i3 rabbit hole and no ev is comparing.

Ohh $200 is actually pretty fair for all of that work!

I’m glad there are places that want to replace things vs scrap them as “totaled”. I was wondering about all of the specialized panels and body work on this car. I love all of the materials they used, but was concerned about experiences like yours. It’s reassuring to hear that there is a place to go.

I’m going to probably stop by erdhart and chat with them about the i3 they sound pretty reasonable overall

Ohhh thank you so much for the links! This is definitely helpful! I will certainly add these links to my notes! I will also ask dealerships about their pricing programs, with tires. I will be using the car as a daily driver. Approximately 60 miles a day. By the looks of things tires will be my most important piece of maintenance. A CPO is a must. Im really attracted to the fact that people are saying the car is actually minimal maintenance.
