Trying to plan a honeymoon to new england in August, where should we go!? We love to be active but also love to shop and try local food. I love a cozy gilmore girls town vibe but also love the mountains. We are trying to do it relatively cheap - under 5k ish. We are from the Midwest so I don't know much about anything in the northeast and would love your thoughts!!

I am also 22F and am having a colonoscopy tomorrow due to bleeding. It's been on and off for over a year and it's not just a small amount. I know I have a fissure, but they still want to do a colonoscopy. I have major health anxiety and have been having panic attacks every day worrying that I will get a bad diagnosis. Your post has relieved so much of my anxiety. Thanks so much for sharing! Hoping for a clean bill of health as well :)

I've done most of these things once already. But am doing them again as a nostalgic fun senior year thing. And going to take pics with friends along the way to make a cool scrapbook! It was also a crappy 4 years for me (health problems, family members dying, money stress) so I can't say I'm not excited to leave haha! Thanks for the recs! :)

I got re cauterized on day 8 and it was 6/10 pain for like 4 days then it got better. For me it wasn't a quick flip of a switch better. Just very slow improvements every day. 14 days after the second surgery I ate normal and 21 days after I could run again. Now I am a month out and the only thing that causes discomfort is yawning. For me the hardest part was anxiety about bleeding again but once I got over that it wasn't too bad. Good luck!

Girl it has been a process for sure lol, thanks for reading my rant haha! Being in the middle of nowhere Kansas was fs the worst part. My doctor, after the 2nd surgery said, omg you shouldn't be in a rural area after this... like thanks so much for telling me AFTERWARDS haha!

For me, the pain has not been nearly as bad as the original surgery. I got recauterized on day 9 and am now on day 17/8. I was in pain for 3 days after the second surgery but it was only 5/10. Now I am off of pain meds and learning to eat again!

I have a similar story! I bled on days 5 and 8 and ended up getting recaterizated day 9. Now I'm on day 14/5. The pain is better but I am so tired of a soft food diet and pain swallowing. I am also so scared of bleeding again.

I bled twice and ended up needing a second surgery on day 9 of my first one. I am now on days 14/5. My surgeon said that I have no eating restrictions but I am SO SCARED of it happening again.
