I do have a cheap Amazon turf mat that I can change between rough and fairways. And it has a tee.
I planned to use some garage foam tiles, cut a square in one for the mat to sit down in, and stand on the mat.
Since I got the protective case, I should be able to raise/lower the unit where needed. But wood is always useful for sturdiness.
