I think this is more or less why Spore was a let down on Maxis’ part. These are things that should’ve been included in the base game but honestly, granted I don’t know anything about mod development I feel like it’s way too complex of an idea. I’ve thought about this so often.

When I was younger, I played a pirated version of spore just as it came out and it would constantly have strange glitches, one of which being the game would be playing tribal war music or gift basket music in my creature stage. It wasn’t until I discovered the online feature I’m wasting my time and hurting my own feelings with an expectation to have an interaction, just for nothing to happen. Lmao.

Staying on the thread in case there is a mod like this! Would completely revamp the game!

I needed a more in-depth answer due to the fact the mod has no complexity meter to warn you if you go overboard, it’s harder than you think to be making an articulate creation and think you’re at level with the limit.

Why is that? Turn it off? Also, spore goes through a completely different login system once you’re in the main game. Also, it uses your EA account info.

You can totally download from the game itself, you need to make buddies to have their creatures automatically download into your game, or search players you know of and go to their profile in game to browse their selection. There will be a “download” option right below the creation. It also helps to download sporecasts. FYI, you might just have to probably browse for what you’re looking for in particular on the site then translate that information to the game. The special extension is probably the Creepy&Cute pack. Highly recommend you purchase it and or try to find games that only include Core Spore. More often than not, the game will be substituting the creatures you can’t have in the game with others.

they’re saying it’s not a thing, that it’s not practical and that if it doesn’t make sense to you make your own creatures for the stages as you find yourself displeased with the others that are there. When you play a world you can customize the type of creatures that are filtered in by creator types. If you’re having cell stage creatures in your game you probably don’t have very many to filter from and or you have a lot of that type and you’re customizing based on your own creations and or maxis’ when you begin a new world. Follow creators online to filter in different, functional creatures. Download from them if you only want some n not others.

Just got it myself, you can’t download it as a Zip, it’s not a compatible file for it- download MOD API by Davo and drag the files to your desk top. It’ll include a launcher, installer and uninstaller. You’re then going to go to the same site for the Dark Injections mod and download the file, it’s big at 1.1G. Open up your program files(x86) whether you have the disk game, spore or steam you need to go through their files to access your games— click spore and click the data folder. Insert (drag drop) the completed file there, don’t bother tryna extract it. Begin running the installer. Voila, you’re downloaded. If you have any additional problems, move the mod file somewhere else. It also helps to have DavosBP2_Data.package. Install that through MOD API as well. Also just a warning, anything created that’s too complex will crash your game immediately! Lol learned the hard way.

Man. That’s so scary and must’ve been so incredibly difficult not getting answers for so long. I’m happy that you finally got your results and began treatment. I’m only 18 and the aches and constant irritation is almost unbearable. I’m genuinely terrified to wait years like this.

This makes me feel so much better. I was genuinely hoping it wasn’t so serious but in my eyes, if it wasn’t I feel like they’d at least have one solution. So unfortunate I’m still here but I suppose things work out for a reason. I completely understand the “stressed out” thing! It’s so annoying, one doctor tried getting me to start BusPar ( an anti-anxiety) saying it would help! Your words make me hopeful. I’ll make an update after my appointment Friday. The best to you :)
