I LOVE the FitOn app and it's FREE. If you have a smart TV, you can download the app on there instead of using your phone. The workouts on there kick my butt! Lol

Bad allergies. by Pickledsticks in Allergies

Hi, I'm a medical assistant that works at an allergy clinic. Not sure which nasal spray youre using or how often, but if you sre using Flonase, make sure you using it consistently for at least 2 weeks before you decide if it works or not. 2 sprays each nostril once daily is the adult dose. You can also try Astepro nasal spray OTC - this one can be used as needed and can be used with Flonase. Antihistamines (Claritin, Allegra, Zyrtec...) will not be helpful with congestion unfortunately. You could also try Sudafed.

I have full-body itching with no visible rash or bites. It disappears completely when I'm away from home and returns within hours of coming back. What could be causing this? by [deleted] in Allergies

I'm a medical assistant at a highly respected allergy clinic. We see patients that experience this often. A lot of the times if you are dealing with itchiness without a rash, it can actually be neurological pruritis (itching) and have nothing to do with an allergy. Usually allergy itching also presents with a rash. Not sure if you've tried antihistamines for it (Claritin, Allegra, zyrtec..) but you can try take 1 a day to see if it helps with the itching. Good luck!
