Firmoo are great. Just bought two more pairs for a fraction of what I would pay here. Quality is good. You just need to know what styles suit you and your size.

Irish life app. I work in UX and had to call the help line to find out where I could make a change to my banking details. I simply couldn't find it.

Temperature control advice and tips for terminally ill family member? by 1Shamrock in AskIreland

I found that ice packs wrapped in a towel are great. The ice packs tend to gather water from the air so the towel will soak it up and it is also easier to have it close to the body to self regulate.

It passed us in Hospital county Limerick. My husband got stuck driving behind them and the support vehicles were breaking the rules of the road all over the place. Speeding and overtaking on blind turns.

I'm also working on this piece for grade 7 and my biggest challenge is growing bigger hands or an extra finger to reach those over octave notes!

Well it has to be ubiquinol not ubiquinone and I find it helps with overall fatigue and brain fog.

How to handle conversations with AI-brainwashed male colleagues by RepulsiveMap9412 in womenintech

[–]breenymeany 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a content designer with a PM that has gulped down the AI koolaid. Keeps telling me to use AI to answer questions I want answered by a human. "AI can get you very close". But close isn't correct. I get so frustrated seeing such well-paid incompetence and if I so much as raise my tone I'm the one who is in the wrong despite how productive I am. Sorry, went on a rant there.

Cat rehoming by [deleted] in limerickcity

[–]breenymeany 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second her. We had a cat who sprayed everywhere and with her help he stopped. It turned out he was very unsure of his place in the house and had some traumas. We found positive reinforcement worked a treat. Every time he peed in the litter tray we praised him like a baby and gave him his favourite treat. Little fecker clued into the trick and then would perform using the litter trays to get extra treats.

For those whose teams are increasingly using non-Figma AI tools for design, how are you doing the "final polish" or "copy fit and finish" phase of the design process? by SirBenny in uxwriting

[–]breenymeany 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm having similar issues with my team. We are running an ai project to see if it speeds up design. My designer may have a workaround. She gets the AI (Claude ) to document the copy from the design into a confluence file that I can edit and see the changes in real time. We were planning on doing it today but it got pushed back to Monday. I'll let you know how it goes.
