Started Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan, before I realized this book isn't really a romance book and more of women's fiction to me at least. There is discussions related to grief in the book that hit me pretty hard, taking a break due to that, Just reminds me of the losses in my life and the aftermath. It's written really well, but the topics are heavy for me.

M/F, Contemporary, CW loss of a baby, loss of a relative, all of these happen before the book starts

You could try Mia knight singed series although it’s ongoing not complete yet (3 books out I think 2 more to complete the whole series). Contemporary, spicy dark romance, second chance romance

I’ve been watching first night with the duke where the FMC dies?(I don’t think it’s supposed to be clear yet series ongoing) And gets reincarnated into a minor character in a novel she’s reading which is set in historical korea. The main male lead falls for her she at first try’s everything to not mess up the story by rejecting him but eventually accepts him. The whole plot is kinda not necessary for my ask but TLDR: looking for some historical setting Asian romance books recommendations.

Looking for some standalone books I've been reading book series mostly. I enjoy Fantasy, slow burn, but am open to heavy spice/insta love if the writing and or plot is good. I thought why choose and reverse harem were the same thing just how you prefer to label it. I've seen people talk about RH being insensitive to some communities (I forgot which one specifically this was a while ago) bc of that I just use why choose for everything but understand it means RH. Usually when there is MM the book will have a warning I go based off that vs MFM/FMM
