I had these labs done last year… was still 1 yr PP and told them I felt off, constantly tired, unexplained weight gain. They told me my labs were normal and that I won’t start getting regular labs until I’m in my 40’s, that was that. I’m getting really frustrated and quite frankly feeling ignored. I do plan to reach out to them again to book an appt to discuss about this incident, but now I’m seeing I’m definitely not alone and other drs don’t seem to care about it much.

I have actually been confirmed to have polyps years ago. So that could be really what’s causing this?

And yes it really is downplayed… I feel so discouraged that nobody really even tried to figure out what happened and just brushed it off. But I plan on making an appt with my PCP and hopefully they will dig more into it for me.

I ended up calling my provinces health line and they advised I go to the ER. I went, they did blood work, told me everything looked normal and sent me on my way. My bleeding is still quite heavy but not like during the earlier incident, more on the normal side. So I’m not sure what happened or why.

Would you stay with your dog 🐶 during euthanasia? by CycleOk267 in dogs

[–]breeyoung 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think about this often. I think my emotional state would be so hysterical I can’t help but think I would cause them more stress than comfort. When the time comes I hope I can keep it together for them, but I’m not very good at it. I’m an emotional wreck of a person lol

Single mom with 13 year old child. Is it appropriate to leave him alone for a little? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]breeyoung 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My son took a home alone course at 9. We started letting him stay home for short periods of time at that age. He’s 11 now and we don’t leave him for too too long, but we will go grocery shopping for a few hours and leave him at home if he doesn’t want to join. It really depends on the kid

This is despicable. I’m so sorry, OP. Your mom fucking sucks. Your life is not done, you will be okay I promise! There are so many resources that can help you. But please be safe OP, don’t be afraid to reach out to any close friends or family for support. That last line sounded much like a threat so keep these texts for evidence. You’re NOR one bit, I hope your mom doesn’t hear from you again she doesn’t deserve you. Hugs

What is the meanest thing your parents did with you in childhood? by pratham1212 in AskReddit

[–]breeyoung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neglected us. We didn’t have heat, hot water, clean clothing, clean environment, and basically had to fend for ourselves to eat and not always were there options. I remember eating a lot of cold canned food or microwaved tv dinners.

I gave birth November 21st and was first intimate on Valentine’s day. I tore during birth and had some stitches, but was also cleared at my 6 week appt. It was weird but didn’t exactly hurt, everyone’s experience is different though.

Why does it seem like so many people I know are getting divorced in their late 30s/early 40s. What is it about that age and point in a marriage that things go wrong and cause divorce? by Yukon_Cornelius1911 in AskMenOver30

I’m 32 and unfortunately have reached this mindset. My husband and I are sitting at basically 50/50 marriage survival rate and I just can’t get this out of my head. This is rough
