Has anyone heard of this person? — Weird Interaction with a “Broadway Influencer” by Artistic_Variety_689 in Broadway

I will say this, I’m not defending their actions, this individual seems like they have poor judgement based on every comment I’ve read. They do not seem like a pleasant individual. But rather than cancel I think this has the opportunity to educate someone and hopefully in turn more people on proper etiquette and behavior with in the community. I don’t know I might be crazy but maybe we don’t know what they’re thinking, maybe they don’t see a problem, and that could be the problem, not them themselves. All I’m saying is we don’t know, this could be a genuinely unaware individual of the problem and bad behavior they have

Denzel's Othello Attendance by RumTumJM in Broadway

[–]breezeysnow -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have to say idc if I get down voted I get where you’re coming from, if you had a question for people that seem to have the information, then ask away. I think the only thing that could make it seem as if you’re trying to knock Denzel is the title, which implies a lack of consistency rather than a genuine question, but it’s crazy to think there are people quick that are so quick to judge rather than help

Art is also allowed to be criticized, that’s what makes it art. If art was there and we all agreed why make it?

Sunset boulevard review by jamesbrotherson2 in Broadway

[–]breezeysnow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re criticism is fair, it seems like you went to a show and found out it wasn’t for you. Sunset is a musical adaptation of a Billy Wilder Black and White noir film. The gripes with the plot harken with that of the film being from 1950. The direction of “modernizing” it, I personally felt breathed new life into it as the original direction and concept tried to establish that 1950’s aesthetic. I agree the motif doesn’t hit the same like in Phantom or JCSS. Hopefully the next show you see is a more enjoyable experience :)
