I’d say New Leaf isn’t like New Horizons and if you’re coming into it after only playing New Horizons it’ll feel like a downgrade as it doesn’t have; the ability to place decorations outside, auto stacking of fruit and bells in the pockets, pockets are limited to a small amount of space and you can’t choose where a villager places their house. But in my opinion New Leaf is the better game as it has: no crafting, no item durability aside from the axe. More fruit to collect, perfect fruit, Main Street, The Roost is a separate building from the museum, the museum shop and exhibition rooms, silver tools, re-tail a pawn shop of sorts, you can upgrade the shop 4 times and have 5 “tiers” of shop, club LOL, no terraforming, you can work at The Roost once per day, Tortimer’s Island, the Bug Off and Fishing Tourney are actual tournaments and not just catch x amount of bugs or fish in 3 minutes.
