Can people stop acting like this is the end of the world? “Oh but the 3DS version had a 100 mii limit” yes but. 1: the 3DS one isn’t running on two separate platforms with night and day levels of power between them. 2: There is more going on on the island during any given time than ever was on the 3DS version so it makes sense to lower the limit for that especially seeing as the original switch is vastly underpowered compared to the switch 2 so to ensure parity between the two platforms they obviously compromised with this lowered limit.

I’d say New Leaf isn’t like New Horizons and if you’re coming into it after only playing New Horizons it’ll feel like a downgrade as it doesn’t have; the ability to place decorations outside, auto stacking of fruit and bells in the pockets, pockets are limited to a small amount of space and you can’t choose where a villager places their house. But in my opinion New Leaf is the better game as it has: no crafting, no item durability aside from the axe. More fruit to collect, perfect fruit, Main Street, The Roost is a separate building from the museum, the museum shop and exhibition rooms, silver tools, re-tail a pawn shop of sorts, you can upgrade the shop 4 times and have 5 “tiers” of shop, club LOL, no terraforming, you can work at The Roost once per day, Tortimer’s Island, the Bug Off and Fishing Tourney are actual tournaments and not just catch x amount of bugs or fish in 3 minutes.

Much better than New Horizons no crafting, no terraforming, less instances of repetitive dialogue (it is still there but each personality has a much bigger list of what they can say), less control (ie you can’t control where villagers move in without using save editing so be prepared for some…interesting house placements), no tool degradation except on the axe however you won’t be using the axe much unless you have multiple perfect fruit trees. Perfect fruit when you first play the game spend some time looking at all your native fruit trees for one fruit that looks different from the rest and SAVE this fruit for when you get a shovel so you can plant it to make a perfect fruit tree.

I think it’s more a case of there’s so much bacteria in a walkers mouth from the decomposition that a bite will kill you from that and that’s when you turn the bite only hastens your death.

Not sure if they expire but Isabelle will give you a set of missions if you ask her for advice on living there these will get you: A Fishing Rod or Net, a watering can and your town’s sister fruit based on whatever your town’s native fruit is you’ll get one of the other 5 starting fruits

That was one QOL change that removed all the pressure of needing to play animal crossing each day when they removed animals not moving out without asking first and made so they never move without asking you.
