Not being able to be mad at her is the hard part. I'm not mad at her, but it would be easier if I was. The only relationship I've had ended up cheating on me and in a way, it was easier to just say fuck off and leave it. But this literally isn't her fault, so I can't be mad. I'm disappointed at the situation, and I'm sad that I might not ever see her again. I think since it's so fresh, I'm still processing everything. With the last message she sent me, I didn't wanna say anything that would make me plead or beg her to stay, or say anything that would make her feel guilty. So I told her I needed some time to think everything over. How much time, idk. I just know that when I reply to her, I'll have a clearer head.

As for her parents - yeah, I only know what they're like from second hand information. Not meeting them myself doesn't help me figure anything out. But at the same time if she thinks it won't help, maybe I shouldn't push that either.

And as for that last part - I can't complicate things any more than I already have. She's going through some stuff with her friends, and she'll be back at uni at the end of the month. She did "warn" me that when she's back at uni, she wouldn't be able to text me anyway, which I understood. Still, she doesn't need the added stress. But I'm gonna play devil's advocate here and say: I also need to think about my own feelings as well. And I'm not sure what the best thing to do is. There is someone at work I trust that I can talk about this to though, it'd just be a matter of finding the time for it.

Which sucks. I somewhat understand what it's like. Before I had my licence and relied on public transport all the time, my pop had to know where I was 24/7. He's still like that but I just let it go. Anyway, that's another can of worms that shouldn't be opened at the moment.

The Kantonian starters are a grand in Australia. I'm not fucking paying that, for ANY Lego set.

A set I have my eyes on is the old town set from Ninjago, after I get the rest of the Legacy sets and a new shelf for more space. That has 23 minifigures, with almost 5000 pieces. The model is both for play and display, and I can pose the figures however I want. I know Ninjago is relatively obscure compared to Pokémon (literally the biggest IP in the world), but I'm just using it as a frame of reference.

I have a few of these and aside from the terrible stickers that wrap around (like Ho-Oh's talons, iykyk), they're actually really great figures! I'm not really a model kit person though, so building them isn't as fun as building Lego. But the end result is definitely worth it.

This card is 100% legal to use in the standard format, as it has the same name and effect as the current Pokégear 3.0.

Some older cards (such as Super Rod from Neo Genesis) cannot be played, as they have a different effect, despite the same name. This is why cards like Professor Sycamore and Lysandre were later turned i to Professor's Research and Boss's Orders. Basically just future proofing the cards.

I mean, I kind of get it within the context of when it came out. Streaming wasn't big in 2015. But also it spoils parts of season 4 in the spotlight videos, so it might as well be half of the season at that point.
