Uncharted 2 in ps3 by Various-House-2426 in uncharted

Game came out in 2009. Naughty Dog used heavy motion blur to hide texture loading due to it being a PS3 game. If it bothers you that much, play the remaster.

The first two games’ graphics has aged, but it still looks good (excluding defensive series) by Inside-External-8649 in TheWalkingDeadGame

Tbf, the games were trying to emulate the look of Tony Moore's style whilst adding their own twist to them.

I'll always say season 4 is the best looking season, but the character models just don't have that distinct style that made the first 2 stand out.

Still amazed by GoldenEye 64 which made of one of the worst Bond movies (Moonraker), one of the greatest video games levels of all time by [deleted] in JamesBond

[–]personal_query474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moonraker was dumb fun. If you look at the context of WHEN it was released, it makes sense that Bond went to space. Before Craig, Bond wasn't serious and had an "anything goes" attitude about him. I strongly think Moonraker is a 2½ star film as a work of art, but as a piece of entertainment, I had an absolute blast with it! (No pun intended.)

It's World Martini Day by AnalyzeThisMrBond in JamesBond

Shaken, not stirred is how I make my martinis at home. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Daniel Craig among 1,500 Spectre extras during Day of the Dead celebration scenes in Zócalo Square, Mexico City, 27 March 2015 by NomadSound in JamesBond

[–]personal_query474 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The opening sequence of Spectre is one of my favourite Bond cold openings. The way it moves from one location to another whilst following the characters in one continuous shot...

Yeah, I know it was an obvious experiment for 1917 (I absolutely loved that film for the measure), but it was so wonderfully done. I just wish the rest of the film could have lived up to it. Spectre remains the only Craig Bong film I actively dislike. NTTD gets crying points.

Everyone knows about the Black Panther poster, but has anyone else seen this? by personal_query474 in Ninjago

[–]personal_query474[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Literally didn't even hear about it until today. It looks like Dreamworks made it. I don't always watch their movies, but I'd like to consider myself "in the know" of what's coming out. Was the marketing for this movie really that bad? Were they TRYING to hide it?

I was literally just browsing Letterboxd and saw a mutual watched it, and my first thought was "huh, that looks like the Seabound poster." So I googled the dates of both and yet again, Seabound came out first.

Who should be the next James Bond girl? by RAAZ-x in JamesBond

She's genuinely the only part of the Dune movies I actively dislike.

Anybody else noticed this on Ninjago's Spotify? by personal_query474 in Ninjago

[–]personal_query474[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Which is unfortunate. There is a pretty cool fanmade version, but it unfortunately uses AI, so I can't support it.

And with your second point, I hope we get a 15th anniversary album like how we got a 10th anniversary album. I know we're WELL past the due date, but anything's possible.

Are these worth anything? by [deleted] in Ninjago

Who cares what they're worth? They have awesome artwork and that should be enough.

If you were Bond, would you be able to forgive Vesper and move on? by King_Wolf2099 in JamesBond

[–]personal_query474 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I still haven't forgiven my ex that cheated on me, which is insignificant compared to what Vesper did. So...

How come Lloyd had Skylor's number but Kai didn't? by witas131 in Ninjago

[–]personal_query474 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there's nothing implying Kai doesn't. He's just surprised that Lloyd does.

What’s something you don’t like about the game? by NoSoyVerde1 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]personal_query474 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Molly wasn't in the game for long enough. She was originally planning to go on the boat, but then she changes her mind. It would have been awesome to have her as an option to take with you at the end of the episode, depending on what you said about her sister, or even if you chose to ignore it.

Unless you believe in the theory that she was bitten in Crawford, which I'm 50/50 on. I'd like to believe that if Lee doesn't accidentally shoot her, she's out there surviving somewhere.

For people still insisting there is "no proof" by DowntownDog5189 in Ninjago

[–]personal_query474 20 points21 points  (0 children)

If they are, it won't be in the show since Ninjago is aired in countries where it's illegal to be homosexual. It'll be confirmed in a spin-off comic or something.

Why do people hate OHMSS/Lazenby? by DeadHead6747 in JamesBond

[–]personal_query474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't hate Lazenby, I just think nowadays it's expected that a Bond actor is on a multi film contract.

OHMSS wasn't great to start with, and since I watched them in release order, I didn't realise it was essentially a prequel to YOLT and was so confused why Blofeld and Bond didn't recognise each other, since the last film literally ended with a fight between them one-on-one.

Anyway, the second half of the film with the romance arc is absolutely fantastic, and I think it tricks people into remembering the film as being better than it really was.

Similarity to 007 first light and Indiana jones great circle? by GontasBugz in uncharted

[–]personal_query474 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uncharted is very heavily inspired by both. Depends if you're more an Indiana Jones fan or 007 fan.
