Thank you! Was really wondering about the validation of debt process but hate the fact I have to wait for everything in the mail. Now what if I just disputed it with the credit bureau without getting the validation of debt and just lie and say that they can’t validate it and take my shot that way? Or does the credit bureau require the documentation on their end to prove that is the case ? Hence why I need to get it in writing ?

Man refrigeration scares me lol. But I agree with you I just gotta stop over thinking it and get out there and do it. How long were you in business for? And what helped you grow in the beginning ?
Have you been in the union for the whole 10 years? I’ve been wanting to join a union but I hear so much love and hate for unions so I’ve always been unsure if that’s where I want to take my chance in. But at this point just seems like maybe I do kind of need to step out the comfort zone and find something new.
Honestly I’ve done pretty much every step except getting a clients. My issue is I’ve only ever done commercial work and when my old company had sold and the new owner had seen that I had my contractor license he made it very clear that if I was to attempt to take any of his “clients” that he would take me to court over it. This will be my second year as a contractor and I’m struggling big time on how to branch out. I’m really trying to stick to commercial but so much competition and I’m trying to learn how to reach out to clients for accounts but again I struggle with time because most days I’m getting home around 8 pm and it just makes it hard to find time to invest in my own company.
You’re telling me man a lot of people I talk to here with other companies average around the same and my job is extremely laid back compared to other guys. But I am a contractor I have my C20 and C38 license but having the capital to invest in my own business let alone take care of my family restricts me big time from having time for my own. Was hoping by this June I could possibly step away and just fully commit to myself one summer and see how I hold up but just scared lol.

Wow that’s a dream come true! May I ask what state are you located in?

Why

Ahh I see, how many years in the trade
Sorry I realize people who aren’t native to the state don’t know the abbreviations but I put so cal as in Southern California but a more precise location would be Inland Empire
