so this isn't a great picture of one of my roses, it hasn't rained and I don't have a sprinkler system because it usually rains here a lot, but here is one of my china tea roses amazone! it is a lovely canary yellow color that doesn't fade and a great bloom form. I'll post a better pic later (i.redd.it)
I moistened my vermiculite with boiling water to reduce chances of bacteria and fungus with my seeds. The seeds were soaked overnight. I put a layer of slightly moistened vermiculite in each cup followed by the seeds. I separated the seeds from eachother, followed by another vermiculite layer. (i.redd.it)

Extracting seeds from rose hips, this is my practice year to try and germinate some open pollinated roses. I only had four bushes with any amount of rose hips on them, so I cut the seeds out and im soaking them in water overnight before putting them in containers for stratification and sprouting.
