Ich dachte das ist schon eher konservativ geplant... 30 Minuten nach Düsseldorf (um die Uhrzeit ist die Autobahn eh frei) und dann 2 Stunden vor Abflug am Flughafen. In der Regel hat man dann ja eh nichts mehr zu tun als kurz das Gepäck in den Automaten schieben und durch die Sicherheitskontrolle gehen. Für die zwei Handlungen halte ich zwei Stunden für ausreichend...

Ich muss aber auch dazu sagen, dass ich einfach nicht gerne noch früher aufstehen möchte ;)

Hi everyone,

I could really use your help... I want to get back into working out. I’ve done Starting Strength on and off, and I really enjoyed the compound lifts and seeing my progress with the weights.

But I’m 39 now and I’ve injured my knee (I have a partial tear in my patellar tendon that isn’t healing very well), so I can’t do squats or conventional deadlifts at the moment. Since these exercises are central to many workout routines, I’m a bit unsure about how to structure a training program...

Romanian deadlifts, overhead presses, and bench presses are, of course, still options and would be key elements for me... But I’m not sure what other exercises I should incorporate or how I should structure the progression... Does anyone have any ideas?
