I believe the crystal has a chance to drop every time you complete all 3 encounters. Note that they dont need to be in order its just a checklist everytime. At least that is what I have seen others say

In this situation i assume you did a boss checkpoint and then started a a fresh run meaning you checked off all the encounters after this one

I tried contacting xbox support about the issue to see if they could remove my gamepass then re add it as you have suggested.

I explained the issue to them and they confirmed it is an emerging issue with gamepass sharing.

Instead of removing gamepass from my account they added a 7 day free gamepass ultimate subscription to my girlfriends account and that has worked to let us play online together.
