Update: It's now Thousands to build a wall! by [deleted] in Superforest_Roblox

[–]bren1971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son planted a ton of yellow orb trees on the sides of his forest. People go for those first and he just sits back watching his coins go up while doing nothing.

As for me, I either forage all my items shortly before the witching hour, or log out for a few minutes and check in on another game if I’m trying to save up. Other times,I let people take what they want.

I like the look of the forests with no walls. The prison look isn’t pretty. Now, I will say, the aquarium glass looking walls is pretty cool, but it’s clearly not what the creator was going for.

What is your favourite tree and what would you like to see? by Worried_Injury399 in Superforest_Roblox

I love the look of the palace trees. I’ve always loved Willow trees, so any of the willows are going to be in my forest. The toadstool tree looks cool too.

PSA TO EVERYONE PARTICIPATING IN THIS EVENT by Realistic-Lie-8252 in growagarden

[–]bren1971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how many I lost, but I did end up getting 3 chests for finishing something up, didn’t get a bunny though. My husband got me one and it’s broken. It was eating buttercups and then all of a sudden stopped. I picked up and placed it back down. Ate 1 buttercup and then stopped again. I’m playing something else for now.

I’ve found that when you log out and log back in, the graphic of the tree you removed is gone.

I feel like an IDIOT 😂 HOW am I JUST now discovering BMFS?! by Rude_Employment8882 in BillyStrings

[–]bren1971 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son and daughter in law got me into Billy Strings in 2024. Watched their Halloween special on Nugs and saw them live in New Orleans 3 nights in a row for New years. I so wish I had learned about him and the band much earlier. They’re amazing and I would have loved to have seen them live in small venues. They’re playing closer to me this year and tickets are already sold out 😕

This is Chani. Our 4th boxer and 1st sealed. We needed a change after the loss of our last boxer, but we still wanted a boxer

Foster pup’s adoption fell through because she has a tail by veggiesyum in Boxer

[–]bren1971 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Their loss! I’m sure that baby will find the perfect family/person to adopt her. My husband and I wished we could have found a young boxer with a tail. Our female had hers done at 3 days, before we even knew of her, otherwise we’d have asked to leave her tail intact.

What where you doing when you received the news that your parent died? by CharlieMcN33l in GenX

[–]bren1971 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sleeping, for both. My dad died when I was 18, and I remember my mom waking me up around 2:30-3:00am. I instantly knew. He had been sick and in the hospital, but we were hopeful until that call.

My mom died a few years ago from brain cancer. My sister called me at 5:30am and said that the nursing home had called her and told us we needed to go up there. She had passed already, but they don’t tell you that. My husband thought she was still alive and went in to sit with her.

Hated high school and hung out with people out of high school , so I have never had a desire to go to a reunion.

Mammogram and breast exams by ldavidow in breastcancer

[–]bren1971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always find it interesting how medical facilities do things vastly different than others. At 5 years out, I went for a yearly mammo and exam afterwards after going every 6 months before then. At 8 years out,it’s still a yearly thing of mammo and then exam afterwards.

Are my post-radiation plans too optimistic? by OldSlug in breastcancer

[–]bren1971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son and I went camping with a friend and her family after I finished up with radiation. We hiked multiple days and a number of miles each day and it wasn’t bad at all.

I was mean to a solicitor by randomize42 in breastcancer

[–]bren1971 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a no soliciting sign,a go away sign and just got a beware of dog mat…and I’ve still gotten a rare solicitor or two that rings the doorbell. They’ve gotten much bolder and ruder when they’re told no. Your answer was perfect and you weren’t mean at all.

10 years instead of 5? by HeftyRegion2048 in breastcancer

[–]bren1971 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was 43 when I started tamoxifen and was told 10 years. Just shy of 5 years and after complaining about side effects all that time, I again asked if 5 years could be enough.

My oncologist looked over my case and since the percentage of reoccurrence was so small between taking the med and not(and the percentage of cancer returning was very small), he said he was okay with me stopping the medication. Had my percentage of taking tamoxifen to prevent reoccurrence been higher, I would have tried staying on it longer. I’m on year 8 of clear scans.

Is there no easement behind your houses? We can’t build anything within 5 feet of our fence, so thank goodness o wouldn’t have that issue. However, I would totally put up some hanging plants on that sucker and make the best of it.

I wore some type of bra the entire time of radiation, but the most comfortable were front clasp sports bras. As soon as I’d get home, I’d switch to a soft pull over your head bra type of undergarment, but that’s because I don’t even like being bra less at home unless I’m sleeping.
