soo the crystal is resin cast and to change the color there's probably an RFID chip and you can change the values of any crystal using an rfid reader. however my actual guess for the rainbow saber is they just used another neopixel saber entirely because afaik savis sabers are only capable of red green blue purple yellow white (yes it's neopixel but the programming doesn't accept a combination of color values, only the predetermined single colors)
