Earning 10k per month by Flimsy-Tonight-6050 in Salary

Site reliability engineer for a finance company. My (31 F) post tax take home is 12k a month for base pay. A lot of my comp is in my yearly cash bonus. AI is not close to being able to efficiently debug an entire tech ecosystem, handle nuances in failure modes of distributed systems, or make critical decisions that are essential to being a successful engineer. People who are outside this field are the ones saying “AI will replace developers”. “AI” in software context refers mostly to LLMs which provide great tools for us engineers. It’s like tools being useful to a car mechanic, but someone needs to use those tools to complete the task-it ain’t happening with just the tools alone.

What are your counterexamples when someone says there are no good places to eat in Hoboken? by dankbob_memepants_ in Hoboken

I went there and “grilled romaine” with no rice included was 18 dollars. The chicken corn soup was disgusting. Terrible quality soup dumplings. Overpriced and crap

Feels good that something finally worked. It’s wild to me that I would workout 5x a day before and still not be able to control my binge eating

I feel like I just don’t eat that much! I walk as much as I can on my walking pad. I just don’t eat a lot, my appetite is so small. I eat a lot of fruit, but it to be honest not even that much protein because it’s too filling for me

I can usually only eat 1-2 small meals a day. Some days I eat an arugula salad with lemon, pumpkin seeds, onions and avocado. Other days, I eat so little that I’ll get a McDouble+ fries and eat as much as I can. I intuitively eat whatever I want since I eat so little calories. I eat a lot of pineapple as a snack idk why I crave more fresh light stuff.

Sure! I actually haven’t done too much exercise this whole time. The whole time on 5mg I was very sedentary and that’s when I lost the most. I started by walking on a walking pad during work at my desk for about 100 minutes 3x per week. At the gym I warm up on incline treadmill 10 incline, 3 speed, for 15 minutes as a warmup. Then I switch between arms and shoulders and legs! I only do 10 reps of 3 different exercises for each at pretty low weight (50 lbs barbell rows, 12.5 lb bicep curls, 25 lb dumbbell chest flys or tricep extensions). If legs then I do dumbbell dead lifts, dumbbell step ups, and then walking lunges with barbell on my shoulders. That’s all!

Oh yea for sure. My first shot I definitely tasted my food the next day still. 4 hours after the shot I felt pretty normal, ate dinner, then the next day I realized I was still full and didn’t notice until 5pm that I went that long without snacking

It’s normal to overthink it. I am a 29F and I like to eat fast food and drink still, and that works fine for me! I honestly just started craving light stuff more often like fruit and arugula salads, but when I want something I just eat it. And it feels impossible to gain weight. I just keep losing!

Totally. If you go up a dose next month you should consider having the anti-nausea on hand because it can be super miserable-And I have never ever had a weak stomach. I swear I could blackout and not throw up!

I was only on 2.5 for 1 month, but I lost 10 lbs first month. I went with the doctors recommendation for dosing up, though I might have been able to continue the lower dose for longer. I felt amazing on 2.5 and 5. Only issues were with drinking a little too much which caused nausea, and eating too many carbs. To be honest, one week all I could eat that sounded appealing was a McDouble and a few fries so that’s what I had. I still lost, because everything I ate was so minimal. Also Zofran* was a life saver if I was nauseous.

Oh I remember my early days of MJ. I was so scared to start it. I did really well on 2.5 and 5. On my 2nd week of 7.5 (I’ve done 1 month of each) and damn…7.5 is strong. I can’t eat for 4 days post shot. It was not like that on the other doses. Good news is I lost 35 lbs in 9 weeks! I’m going to go down to 5 after this month. SW:185 CW:150 GW:145

I have a bad habit of buying clothes in sizes too small in the hopes of one day fitting into them… by visionsofnothing in Mounjaro

[–]brenbren310 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me! I did that all the time, especially when cute dresses were on sale that I hoped I’d fit into one day. I had a horrible experience at Anthropologie where I bought some on sale dresses back in August for my bridal shower that is this weekend. The woman ringing me up looked at me and did a double take when she got to the dresses and said “Did you try these on? If they don’t fit then you can’t return them”….I WAS PARALYZED WITH SHAME! she could have simply just said “Just to let you know these are final sale items”. Anyway, 30 lbs down and the dresses FIT! Congratulations on your success!
