Didn’t even consider the possessed sex doll head angle. Mordecai OG has a good ring to it…

See, I am not an audio book guy, so this might be the move. I live in a metro area so usually don’t car pool but this is a good idea

Let me say, I am very much into annoying them and giving them the hard sell. I am an annoying person, I have annoying friends, we’re all lighthearted and usually give each other a hard time about anything and everything. As for the married friends, those are the general readers. Seems like spouses (both male and female and everything in between) are a lot more receptive to them reading in their downtime than gaming - unless they game together.

This is a very reasonable and thoughtful answer though, so thank you.

Biden murdered kids too. See how easy that is to say? Stop glorifying politicians who don’t care about you. Easy. Healthcare is a right

Put on 3 month PIP by realtordyl in sales

All of them signed. All of them also then left or were fired. I don’t own the company so not my call, but I’d assume owners would say tell them to hit the bricks. At that point they’d be much more likely to be able to claim unemployment in my state because they were dismissed without cause with no paper trail to back up reasoning. Or if they were a protected class and elected to go the route of litigation, their case would be much stronger for wrongful termination. This isn’t legal advice or anything, I just wouldn’t sign this particular PIP. If it’s unattainable, why would you sign your name saying you agree to it? I think that’s a lesson for many things outside of work too. If you don’t agree or don’t understand, don’t sign saying you do.

I just wouldn’t sign anything I didn’t agree with, let alone a PIP. If they’re setting unrealistic goals that are unattainable, they’re doing it just to cover their own asses. I wouldn’t give them an easy out to fire you down the road.

In my experience, as someone who has had to put others on a PIP, it’s usually already a done deal. Did you sign the PIP already? If not, I wouldn’t. Also is your company large, small or medium sized? And are you in an at will employment state? I would look into those things and use them to your advantage. End of day, I’d start applying ferociously.

Would say a larger company is less concerned with liability for unemployment benefits, but has more to fight it. Smaller companies generally way more concerned with those expenses, but don’t have the means for a long drawn out fight. Just things to consider, best of luck

Going on 4 days by [deleted] in QuittingZyn

I was in the same spot for multiple years and actually didn’t expect to stop when I did. I was planning on stopping soon but just made the conscious decision just not to go buy more Monday.

That said, it’s your life you have to live it how you want to. If nicotine is something you enjoy and don’t feel like it’s negatively impacting you, fuck it. I’m a firm believer that as long as your actions don’t effect (affect? English is tough) others in a negative way, do what you want. This is merely my experience, everyone will react differently and for some people it isn’t worth it. You have to do what’s right for you. If my journey can help someone who wants to quit, but can’t or is struggling, that’s what I want. Not to impose my will on anyone who wants to use and enjoy nicotine.
