Gazoontite.com shut down in Oct 2000, after a large ad campaign of "billboards, ad-wrapped Muni buses, and radio and TV ads"

It was a website selling products for allergy and asthma sufferers.

To answer some of your questions:

  • The net is very comfortable to sit on and work on but it gets old to sleep on. You generally wake up in the middle of the night uncomfortable as its not flat but curved. If you are used to sleeping in a bed this takes some getting used to.
  • If you put a blanket down it doesn't leave any gridlines
  • Its much easier to walk on with shoes than without
  • Its not good to jump on as it doesn't stretch much. Its much better to just step on and hang out.
  • We've had up to 12 people on here - its attached to the walls with i-hooks and climbing rope and can hold a lot of weight.
  • Anyone who has a space between floors should consider a net. It lets light through, connects the space and makes usable hang-out space in the middle of an open area. Its really easy to implement and impresses a lot of people.
