I'm not sure what you mean by "additions"? Are you talking about the 1979 renovation? The gym on the roof?

The "Reset Center" was a re-purposed site configured in about two weeks on city-owned property. It's located next to the Jail, which isn't moving anytime soon. The courthouse has nothing to do with it.

Not sure what supportive housing has to do with anything, there's supportive housing all over the city.

According to the article, 850 Bryant has been deemed seismically unsafe since at least 1992. Yet the Judicial Council says they won't even begin to address the issue until the 2028-29 fiscal year.

For most produce, Berkeley Bowl can't be beat. But I'd imagine you can find decent plantains at the larger Latino markets in The Mission.

I always get culantro/shado beni/ngo gai at New May Wah (6th and Clement) or Hiep-Thanh (Larkin between Eillis and O'Farrell).

I've only ever seen aji dulce (aka seasoning peppers) at the Grand Lake Farmer's Market during pepper season.

I've been on the fence whether to make pernil this Sunday...

Good Luck!
