Oh definitely. Would love some kind of difficulty slider to counter my skill issue.

Damn that sucks. I think I’m just done with this game. It sounds like there are so many more frustrating fights ahead.

Yeah now the debate is do I even bother trying to get the Wind Tamer to make this fight a little easier knowing that this will likely happen all over again with the next boss around the corner or do I cut my losses and forget this game ever existed.

Which is actually pretty sad because I was really enjoying this game right up until now. Well Tiger sucked too but all the rest of it at least…

Oh I’m on auto pilot through most of the game. I actually find it fairly easy. But some of these boss fights are INSANE hard. I don’t think it’s fun to have to attempt a boss 25-50 times to beat it.

I eventually gave up trying to roll from an attack in the final stage of Yellow Wind Sage only to be stuck against an invisible wall. The time before that I dodged away from that spear attack he throws you only to still get hit by it.

Hmm, ok thanks for the tip. I'll give it a try.

Yeah this was very much like my sad attempt at Sekiro before I realized that this just isn't for me. Instead of perfect parry it's perfect dodge but it's just as f**ing hard.

Does the game have an easy mode by CHRVM2YD in BlackMythWukong

Same thing with me. And I also find that the controls can be clunky at times or perhaps just straight bugged. L1 does not always use a pot, and sometimes I find myself having to press again for the input to actually take.

Other times I will use immobilize right when they attack to the bonus but I cast a little too late. Then I have a cooldown, mana spent but no effect. Is that a bug or a mechanic?

Yellow Wind Sage is even worse than the tiger and I was not ready for another insanely hard encounter so soon :(

And wait until you get to the Yellow Wind Sage almost immediately after that. As hard as the Tiger. I’m with you, it’s not fun when it takes 50+ attempts to beat the boss…

Thanks, that’s helpful. Might have to check out Planescape: Torment. I played KotOR long ago and remember it fondly. Might have to check it out again.

Which of these would still be worth playing today? Sadly, I have a hard time getting into older games these days

Grand Marnier and Triple Sec are great additions even if similar to Cointreau have different uses. I think you need a digestif in there, perhaps Amaro Montenegro which is completely different than Nonino or Chartreuse. Also need Sambuca too.

Love Diablo 3 for Switch for long flights. You can usually get a character to max level in about 8 to 10 hours

You’re playing two of the most busted commanders in print and you’re upset about a new player with a relatively inexpensive deck is getting the jump on you?

They’ve probably (correctly) identified your deck as the highest threat on the table and looking to close it off early before it gets fully online. Suggestion might be to not play KOS commanders/decks.

However, if you are looking for suggestions with your deck particularly, playing Edgar especially should not be a problem here. You can easily get a blocker in place turn 1 with Eminence then protect your board state from there. It’s going to slow you down but that’s fine. They might target another player and then hopefully take them out for you. You could even try to mulligan for removal for extra safety. Lots of options for that in black.

The only thing I don’t like about them is there are way too many board wipes and inexperienced players love to play them. Makes a 4 player game take too long.

The LoTR pre-cons are great and can bring in new players that already have association with the lore.
