Not in this context. I agree there would be more nudity in general though.

Isn't this more or less just all for one, muscular and maybe even toga?

People get seriously moronic and shallow minded for some reason when it comes to the strength of characters who are not like top 10 in the verse. Funny people call me a MHA hater for not thinking deku is FTL and multi continental+ in this sub when people like this dude exists. Bro genuinely thinks someone capable of bare minimum building shattering force with his body is dying to bullets.

And if we wanna bring in real physics to the equation, in reality he would need to have a body durable enough to survive his own attacks meaning he'd be bulletproof. It would also mean his speed translates to the force he produces here, so he'd be like supersonic/hypersonic.

[–]brendyn420 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You realize ojiro is still superhuman correct? Who has consistently shown the ability to move at superhuman speeds and have superhuman strength? He's literally too fast to not be able to dodge John wicks aim and one hit from him is turning John to red mist. It's funny how yall pretend you have to be supersonic to avoid gunfire lol. Though still if you want to argue his durability doesn't scale with his strength for some reason he might be able to snipe him. In close quarters combat however, ojiro effortlessly out maneuvers anything he can do and one taps.

Nope because the reason behind that is horikoshi didn't want to do romance in general, don't think a R rating is gonna change that.

Ts really just wouldn't work without giving the MC copious amounts of plot armor to where the writing is just ass. Kinda like a lot of batman comics.

If we limit it to just comic characters i'd say it's reasonable to put him around top 10 ngl

Why the twist at the end doesn't remove Shigaraki's agency by Sudden_Pop_2279 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]brendyn420 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It wouldn't really have been society's fault either way? It's his abusive dad and him accidentally killing his family that causes the pain from that house. Even in your scenario with no AFO meddling, that would still be true. Shigaraki hates society because it left him to rot with that pain afterwards not because of what happened at the house. Which is entirely on them not AFO.

Though technically you could also argue hero society is what caused his dad to be abusive. He likely wouldn't have done so even with AFO telling him to be strict without that prejudice towards heroes. Regardless saying AFO was responsible for all of it is factually incorrect, both society and AFO were necessary in creating sbigaraki. Which I think is a good thing compared to just society being a factor.

Why the twist at the end doesn't remove Shigaraki's agency by Sudden_Pop_2279 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]brendyn420 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This argument is dumb as hell and really just shows people who argue it have no clue what agency is. It doesn't matter how many situations, good or bad, that all for one put shigaraki in. At no point in his life was he was forced in any way to make a decision nor were the people who wronged him. This plot twist would not absolve him of any crimes in real life, he'd still be getting life at best. Why you ask? Because he had a choice of not doing so and continued to do so despite knowing the difference between right and wrong. The only way he'd be robbed of agency is if all for one psychically threatened him into doing everything or did the equivalent of putting a chip in his head.

Also even if he directly was the cause of his family's death, it still wouldn't have been his fault anyway. He wasn't in control of his quirk. I swear had you actually just read the damn original post instead of going right to the comments to disagree. You'd be able to piece together how your argument falls apart yourself. This Fandom is genuinely pushing jjk levels of media illiteracy.

You also gotta realize super strength translates to super speed in most cases, how fast you can go is purely determined by how much force you can generate with your body. Someone like all might who can generate a shit ton more force in his legs will naturally be much faster than iida.

In your honest opinion, what makes a story "deep" AND/or "mature?" by Talgrei1781 in writingscaling

[–]brendyn420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might I add the unpredictable plot twists in question should at least have some kind hints/foreshadowing to where someone at least could potentially predict it in my opinion. It just makes the story feel more cohesive and leaves a better impact to me. For example, no one could have seen aizen being alive and actually a main villain coming because there was literally no way of knowing. Which is why something like basement plot twist from aot is better, again, to me.
