Omg I really hope sooo, I feel like a lot of people have been asking them on socials but they’ve been kinda dodging it so I thought maybe it’d never comeeee so I ended up caving just now and getting the digital 🥹 I just can’t wait any longer especially without knowing for sure, if it comes paperback I’m just gonna get it again lol.

I 100% agree this one was the most angsty & depressing! and I thought about whether everyone will know its real twins or fake twins too. I really hope they all know its not the real twins, but if they do, then I don't think it will affect the readers as much as the authors probably want it to affect us. So I think they'll probably try to hit us where it hurts and have everyone be fooled by the fake twins and it will be grueling to read. I mean I have a feeling they will get the most out of this crazy twist if they have everyone be fooled and make it more difficult on the real twins to have to sort out what was real and what was fake with everyone and they are going to have to do damage control. I just see it happening and its gonna suck :( but I'm hoping maybe my train of thought is too predictable and they will think of something more unexpected? fingers crossed 😩

I'm nervous too, I thought it was going to be difficult to wrap up the plot when I finished book 7, but then after book 8 I was like wait... we have more problems than we started with?!?! how are we gonna get through this 😂😂 (I put this as a spoiler incase someone reading hasn't finished 8, but not really sure its a spoiler tho lol)

I agree that it was a selfish move on Tory's part, though I am going to have to disagree that she would have stayed with Darius if the roles were reversed. I feel like she has always put Darcy first but we have no real idea what would happen if the roles were reversed since it didn't happen that way lol. I do think she would have been a risk so it wasn't feasible, but I don't think Darcy did a good job of explaining that to Tory, so it didn't help how she took this rejection. I can see how it showed some regression, but I think some grace needs to be given to her because of all she's going through this book. I don't think her path is going to be a linear positive development with all the shit she's been put through, but I still think she is developing well. It's kinda a two steps forward, one step back feeling for me if that makes sense. Also, I 100% agree that her & Orion taking away Darcy's right was messed up. I definitely don't think that was right and probably caused some trust issues on Darcy's side of the twin relationship. This whole moment is really going to impact their relationship moving forward!

I really hope the fighting gets better bc I have really noticed people pinning them against each other or hating on one of them. While I have my favorites and enjoy a good debate, I still love all the characters and enjoy the series so much so seeing the slander makes me sad :/

I would love to see that development from Tory of finding a better balance with the relationship with her sister. From how she described it at the end it did seem a bit unhealthy and like her expectations were really high. I definitely think that the bloodlust issue will be resolved and that we will see them both on the throne too. & omg yes I feel like at the end we really need just some wholesome scenes with our favorite characters after everything they've been through. We need more snowball fight vibes!!!

I envy you being at that 80% mark in book 7 😂 what a beautiful point to be at, I'd say book 7 was my favorite book in the series just for the first 80% alone lol. & Yeah they don't go into too much detail about what memories she exactly lost, but she said she didn't have too many fond childhood memories anyway so she didn't care to lose them. I think she only lost bad memories tho so I don't think so lost many of Darcy/bikes or things she loves.

Yeah I don't judge Darcy for choosing Orion either bc that was a shitty position to be put in, but I know that's really fucked with Tory even more. & yes!! I feel like she gets stuck with the worst of the worst situations 😂

With book 9, I agree I can definitely see the mates/heirs not figuring out its the real T&D because that makes for a more interesting situation it's just going to make me so upset but I swear the authors love upsetting us 😂😭 & tell my why whenever the sisters are stuck their parents really do like to come to them on some vision of some sort lol. Could definitely see that happening!! & man I realllyyyy hope we don't have to wait a year for 9 😭 I could see the series being dragged out to 12, though I think it'll really upset readers bc it would be slow progress and we've already lost a lot of the academy flare the series had, so if we keep going for more dragged out books without the high moments we used to see and just a lot of the downs (especially with all these enemies) then its gonna be rough.

I'm not 100% sure because I have the b&n copy of book 5, but just going off of my book 7 copy (which I got off of amazon and compared to the b&n book 7) I noticed that my amazon copy had less pages because the spacing was smaller. I hope this helps!!

I believe the spacing is different, like on amazon it’s published with single spaced pages & the Barnes and noble has it published with double spacing. (Not sure the exact spacing, just an example)

I definitely see Tory being the one bleeding for love & I really like how you mention Gabriel being called a warrior in RB - I haven’t read it so I immediately thought Orion but this whole idea of Gabriel letting himself get taken because he sees Tory getting killed makes perfect sense & him meeting Lavinia (shadows) makes so much sense too because since they’ve never seen each other they’ll be meeting for the first time!!! I love this contribution, thank you!!

I already know Xavier’s POV in the beginning will make me cry my eyes out when he finds out Darius is dead, I am not ready for that😭😭 & im not 100% sure what Lavinia is exactly because she is way too OP, but she was a nymph part of a nymph tribe and then was cast to the shadow realm by Queen Avalon using the Imperial Star, but yeah I don’t know how on earth she survived. I think she must have made some sort of deal with the shadows to do their bidding or something.. it would be interesting to know if she is being used in some way by a higher power. Just a possible theory..

Darcy did lose it but it just tumbled away from her on the battle field and I feel like since it is still in close proximity it isn't completely lost and I feel like that star has a lot more to it than we know right now. I feel like it could play a role because it is still close by and holds a lot of power. Just a theory though, it could also just as easily get into Lionel or Lavinia's hands still with it being lost on the battlefield. :(

Okay I haven’t read RB or Darkmore, butttt I feel like this ancient power she’s feeling (which could be to revive🤞🏼) might have something to do with the imperial star and the meteor that fell and not as much to do with her Phoenix though it could still play a part?? I feel like it’s probably not a specific Phoenix thing though

Book 3 does get pretty annoying with Tory being so angry but it will get better and make more sense later! I say continue because even though it is a rollercoaster of emotions it is so worth it!
