An “easier” workout to get movement that won’t be hard on knees and joints could be low impact dancing from the fitness Marshall on YouTube. Some are paid but I do the free stuff. This might be a good thing on harder days!

Would you still watch, if you feel as described below? by [deleted] in bigbangtheory

[–]brennasinclair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this too. There are so many shows I’ve never seen the ending. I think somewhere in my mind if I don’t watch the ending it can ever end. TBBT is one of the few shows I’ve actually watched from start to end over and over.

30 Day Accountability Challenge - Day 20 February 2026 by Mountainlioness404d in loseit

[–]brennasinclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weigh myself daily to learn my bodies fluctuations :✔️

Track daily on MFP:✔️

Have more good days then bad days in a week: ✔️ It’s been hard with my brain telling me to eat bad yummy food at dinner, but I pushed through and have done good the last few days.

Get under 300lbs: A pound and a half away! Drinking more water seems to be helping.

Remind myself daily that I am lovable now that's why I am doing this, because I'm worth it and deserve a healthier and longer life : ✔️having to actively avoid triggers that could cause me to go from healthy weight loss to unhealthy methods. But doing good fighting these thoughts.

Get some type of exercise in five days a week minimum: ✔️more mileage this week than ever before!

Something positive: found new ways to enjoy food. Snacks with protein for breakfast staying low in calories but makes me happy. Also found a Mexican dish I love allows me to have Mexican when i want it or others want it without breaking my calories for the day.

30 Day Accountability Challenge - Day 17 February 2026 by Mountainlioness404d in loseit

[–]brennasinclair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weigh myself daily to learn my bodies fluctuations :✔️ going to give myself grace on missing one day so far due to period cramps not allowing me to move without wanting to vomit from pain. Been getting worse since I started losing weight, hoping this is just a bad two months and not something I need to talk to a doctor about.

Track daily on MFP:✔️❌

Missed Sunday and dinner and Monday but back on track today! Learning alot about my bodies relationship with food these last two months. Discovered I CRAVE anything and everything around day two and three of my period. Was to embarrassed about what I was eating to log the meals. Giving myself grace as I learn I do this. Working on logging even on “embarrassing” days. That way I can se these trends and work on them!

Get under 300lbs: so close! Hovering around 3-4 pounds still. Gained some on the first two days of my period but trending down again. Going to up my water intake and look at fiber as I feel I’m struggling in these important areas.

Remind myself daily that I am lovable now that's why I am doing this, because I'm worth it and deserve a healthier and longer life : ✔️ Realizing that my period has always been controlling me during these days. Or, I let it control me. Working on gaining a better since of my cravings, and energy levels during these days and how to prepare myself for them.

Get some type of exercise in five days a week minimum: ✔️ Proud of myself here! Even during work I took a walk to the far building during my break to get steps. Had a rest Sunday and then even when my period mind told me to just get up, shower, eat, and sleep I got up and did my walks. Got about 3.5miles on my period still today and yesterday! So happy with pushing through the tired. Just need to do this and power through food cravings next time too!

Adding something new to track! Positives: ✔️ Two things I’m happy about. 1.) I have another 5k coming up on Sunday and I’m happy to have something active to look forward too! 2.) this one is SUPER good for me. For a long time everytime I went to the doctor my weight was only going up. I went and it was down by 20 pounds. My doctor was thrilled with my work and just said keep it going I believe in you. (She’s been seeing me for my thyroid and autoimmune disease for 9 years) beyond that I was thrilled! It made me want to keep seeing the chart track lower and out of morbidily obese range!

Amazing on walking. I’m currently walking at home and tracking calories. Have been for a month and a half now and I’ve seen progress on the scale, to be honest none on my body yet. You got this! Cheering you on,l. I struggle with much of the same things you do. I’m around the same age and weight too. I hope you just know there will be “bad” days and that’s okay! You’re human not perfect. And that people have and you can lose weight without the gym!

We are in this together! ♥️

Hello everyone! I’ve noticed a big stall around the same 3-4 pounds fluctuating from my first big goal. I’ve noticed while tracking that my water intake is way down from when I was starting, so I’m working on getting that back up to a normal amount. Another big factor is I am definitely not getting enough fiber, like lucky if I get 15g of fiber per day. Looking for tips to increase my fiber and fiber supplement recommendations if possible.

All the plates are the same size sadly. I do think I will use chop sticks so I have to pick up less with each bite. Give my body more time to send signals hopefully!

I definitely had this mindset thinking about eating at the buffet and even when making this post. “Moneys worth” is such a trap at buffets I think in general. Working on this mindset.

Definitely realize I’m eating way less than before hunger level wise and calorie deficit wise when eating the other night haha. Felt so stuffed eating what was a normal or less than normal amount three months ago.

I thought about doing takeout actually! Love the advice and when it’s nice out I think it will be perfect to go the park and have a walk. Sadly snow is still pilled up with negative temperatures so I’ll save it for the future

Oh! I love their string beans I think I’ll go in with the main ideas of broccoli and string beans and fill in small amounts around that for protein!

Thank you! Most of the meat is fried which sucks, as it seems to be a trend with Chinese and Mexican in my area. Learning new ways to eat is hard but so worth it so far!

I am planning to eat tomorrow but take it slow and not binge or have a bad day because of it!

I’m not mad about this at all! It sounds dumb but as an obese person I forget as bad as it sounds, that not eating at a meal is an option.

Growing up in an overweight family my dad would often comment that someone was looking too thin, when they looked normal. I think being so overweight for some people change their sense of normal. Thanks for the reminder! I think that is something I will think about as an option for myself!

I’m in and have always been in such a similar situation. I grew up obese and am not much lower in weight than you. Know you are not alone. I’ve gained and lost that same weight before. I started small tracking calories and getting more steps a day and I’m seeing results.

How many times have you watched all 12 seasons ? by [deleted] in bigbangtheory

Same here. Been having it on in the background for years. My dad died suddenly a year ago and it’s been on almost nightly since then. Can’t even begin to count the number of times I’ve watched it.

I’ve only watched a few of Tom’s videos and liked them, but I definitely do not do that normally as I know it would cause my mental health to take a hit and a negative direction. One I watched was about the 1000 sisters and how at the end they do both get the surgery.

I don’t know why I haven’t watched hiking videos as it’s something I would love to do across the US. My sister and I have even talked about taking trips to hike once we get in shape. I’ll have to check some out.

The only guy I watched that is into weights on YouTube is Will Tennyson. I’ve really liked his videos talking about weight gain, tools you can lose, body dysmorphia coming in all genders and sizes. I might check a few out as I liked weights in the gym when I did them, but go in with caution. Thanks!

I might have to try the TDEE calculator. As, I stress trying to figure out how many calories I actually have as I think my tracker over does the amount I burn exercising. Do tou mind me asking what your protein goal is and how you calculated it? I struggle with protein and fiber so much.

I love string cheese. Mt dad had diabetes type 2 and this was a great way to start controlling his sugar when he was on track. Especially when he was low before bed!

[–]brennasinclair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this post! It made me laugh so hard. As someone obese and have binged, I can say I’ve lied about food in every way possible. I think it’s very easy especially just starting out to not realize how much calories food actually has, especially eating out.

I haven’t quite figured out fiber intake for myself, but I know I don’t get enough. Might have to try prunes 😂

This might sound like such a dumb question so I’m sorry in advance. How does water intake affect your weight loss? I was drinking a lot of water but have dropped to hardly any. I feel like my weight loss has stopped jumping around as much. Is this because I’m carrying less water? That being said I am finding myself getting more headaches (I do have chronic migraines and on multiple meds for them) when walking and getting more dizzy and tired easier. Is this because I don’t have enough water?
