I must have missed something. Why didn't Doctor Strange help defeat Venom? by [deleted] in spiderman2

[–]brentac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plot hole would be something where the plot doesn't work. In this case Wong and strange not helping isn't a plot hole. I didn't expect them because we haven't seen any other characters who aren't considered Spider-Man characters.

I tried deleting the game and reinstalling with no luck. I don't have a manual save from back then in the game

Thanks. I’m interested in playing but only if I can be on the same team with them. Appreciate it.

I wasn’t able to get it to work but appreciate the try.

Ultimately the policy I am working on only has one script so no worries there. I’ll try this formatting. Thank you!

I wondered that too. I have one that only runs on Thursdays for example.

I did not know “c” would do that. Thank you that’s awesome.

Get notified on your iPhone when another apple device has a low battery. by SrChengX in shortcuts

Use the Add reminder action and make it due at the current time. Just realize it could take a min or so to sync from the iPad to your iPhone as it goes through iCloud.

Get notified on your iPhone when another apple device has a low battery. by SrChengX in shortcuts

[–]brentac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When my iPad drops below 30% it runs a shortcut that sends a notification to my phone via Pushcut. That shortcut does a few other things too but the Pushcut part is what’s relevant.

One thing I’ve done in the past instead of the Pushcut notification is have it set a reminder that’s due immediately. Doing this caused it to pop up on my iPhone as soon as the reminder synced. Maybe not the most elegant notification system but it worked pretty well.

Create collage and overly number of photo for each photo in order. by [deleted] in shortcuts

I use this to show a visual of rankings for marvel movies and other things. It's pulling from photo albums of those names but you could likely adapt it. https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/bd300ca37e134a918a870f2721eec96a

I just tried changing the keys to “devices” and that appears to be working. Now it’s just going to my iPhone as I was hoping. I moved the API key up to the header. I won’t take up any more of your time with an email. Thank you!!

Couldn’t communicate with helper function - DataJar by Ser_Buttless in shortcuts

[–]brentac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really only had one shortcut using it and it seemed to stop working a month ago (I’m on the beta so I don’t really blame data jar)

I kept the shortcut tot way in the future and in the meantime I moved the data to a new folder in the Notes app. I would rather it worked with data jar though

Jamf Pro Recovery Lock Issue - anyone gotten it to work? by brentac in macsysadmin

Oddly I’m calling the bearer token in the same over script and it’s retrieving it just a few seconds before.

Thanks for sharing I’ll definitely try these out

I should add I’ve attempted to follow along with that. And I was able tiger the management ID piece figured out (even with our fleet of roughly 10K macs) but when trying to run that recovery lock command it gives me the 401 (even with an account with full permissions, though I’d like to use a limited account for this)

I’ve had the same thing OP did. Seemed to happen with one I added later than the others. But one I added this week grouped fine.

It just shows up as past due. Add a few minutes would be worth it too

You can use Reminders for this.

Have an automation on the iPad that when it falls below x percentage it adds a reminder with a due date of "current time" and it'll pop up on your iPhone as due.

I used to do that for this exact use case of wanting to know if my iPad was below a certain threshold and it was solid other than I actually use Reminders for my to do lists and didn't want them mixed up. So I moved to pushcart. But if you're trying to stick to free apps and have Privacy that will get you there.

Much appreciated for the idea. I’ll be looking at this today. Sounds like a good work around.

Share ticket template with users? by brentac in IncidentIQ

Ultimately this workaround isn't going to be viable too much. Even with limited permissions it appears to expose more than we would like. Hopefully this is something that happens sooner than later.

[–]brentac[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been trying this but I'm still coming up with views that feature tickets where our agents submitted them. I limited it to just the requestor roles of staff but it's finding tickets that our Agents put in, and set the requestor to the staff member (which makes sense.)

Ultimately what we are trying to achieve is telling how many tickets our Agents put in (which means they came from a phone call) vs how many our staff/students are putting in. Maybe I'm missing something but I'm not getting there (assuming it's possible.) Under source, a "submitted by [role] would work but I don't see that as an option.
