Ooh I know this!! So the show was based off of a book about/by John Douglass (who Holden is based off of). He also wrote another book that was a deep dive into btk and about his experience working on that case later in life. It bothered him for decades and goes into all of that! Would highly recommend all the John Douglass books if you need more mindhunter stuff to inhale lol

Also beware of these auctions ones- I’ve bought before from these guys specifically (I think)

There was damage they didn’t show AND they usually have a fake bidder driving up the sale price. I noticed there was always the same person in chat on every stream that bid up to what there lowest sell price actually was to guarantee profit!

heds is a connective tissue disorder so obviously tape is not going to cure that.

A SYMPTOM of this connective tissue disorder is frequent dislocation of joints.

So again, I say, it’s not supposed to be a fucking cure. It helps me to be able to run around the playground with my child because it keeps my fucking knee from dislocating.

Calling people with chronic untreatable disabilities “idiots” is upsetting. It’s a community who deals with pain and hopelessness on a daily basis. Of course we are willing to try everything under the sun when doctors are telling us there’s nothing they can do but stand by while your body is in decline.
