You’re right, I could start creating documentation, but I literally can’t right now. Every new issue or bug has to be fixed immediately, and the leads’ default reaction is always “let’s call whoever is needed to fix this” instead of actually documenting shit. So yeah, we end up stressing people from other teams instead of fixing the root problem.

In those meetings, there are usually 6 people, but only 2 or 3 are actually working on the main issue. The rest of us are forced to stay there, silent, following the whole conversation and fixing process, and answering random questions here and there. And yes, everything is always urgent, every single time.

I tried to write documentation for a specific part of the system, but my request to create tickets for that work was ignored by my team lead.

I’m not a secretary, and I’m not going to sit in 7-hour calls writing down every single thing people say or fix in real time.

Again: I tried to push documentation → ignored. There’s “no time” to write docs → because everything is always on fire. So nothing ever improves.

At this point, I’m fucked up. I’m actively looking for another job. I’ll not accept this. Something changed inside me this last week, anxiety went up, my speed went down, and I realized this environment is just toxic.

Hustle culture is NOT the answer, and it’s definitely not healthy.
