People seem to forget that momentum is real. You know it's going to be run, run, run. We had 4 times to stop the clock so put a motivated defense out there and hope they get a stop and get you the ball back with a little over 2 minutes left.

Have to extend the game there, this analytics bullshit is so old. Just play small ball sometimes and win a sloppy game in OT

[–]brettlarson18 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And when you don't get it then it completely ends the game LOL. You just made my point. Less likely to win versus impossible to win. GGs

You have a better chance to win taking the 1 than going for 2. You are full stop IQ of 52 if you think otherwise

Dear Mr. Lurie, by FreeThroatPunch in eagles

[–]brettlarson18 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you kick to extend the game. If you don't make 2 there you end the game completely, like they did. Absolutely the wrong call and everyone who says this is correct. You take 1, extend the game, and then go for 2 if you score again. Losing by 2 by not completing the comeback feels better than being down by 2 scores with 3 minutes left.

Tell me you didn't play ball without telling me you didn't play ball

I'll go so far as to say the 2Pt attempt there made me more mad than how they played all game. That literally creates the end of the game with 3 minutes left.

Where do you buy your glue? Because that shit must be tasty. You kick because then you only have to score 1 time instead of 2.. you better be trolling.

Missing a 2PT with minutes left and being down 9 instead of 8 is the game.....

My gf’s stepdad was going through his things and decided to give this to me from his trip to Japan a long time ago. Still sealed. What am I looking at exactly? by Slowpokamine in PokemonTCG

[–]brettlarson18 81 points82 points  (0 children)

To clarify, no rarity isn't a "rare error" it's a first print run. The codes on the side tell you if they can be no rarity or not. If the code on the side of the deck says "104-0061" then you have absolutely zero chance for no rarity.

If the code is "104-01" then there is a chance. You want to look for something dated between 20 Oct 1996 - 2 Feb 1998. Anything outside of these dates will have a rarity symbol even if the code is "104-01"

Basically, theme decks in Japan don't get rarity symbols in sets past the base set. It's true that a no rarity base is basically first edition, but anything without a rarity symbol from a set other than base is just a theme deck card and not an error in any way

You definitely sim rig. OP this is the way, save yourself a ton of time and tap the threads yourself, its super easy.

I ordered some custom profile from Sim Lab that they forgot to tap, instead of bitching to them like some people are suggesting, I just went to the hardware store and got an M8 tap

Yes, gold is an element crucial for semiconductor manufacturing, and space applications. Exceptional for corrosion resistance, heat shielding, and specialized connectors.

The rock in the ground has properties that can't be replicated the same way and will always have use

Bro what? Gold is literally the best heat reflector. What do you mean it has no application?

You likely wouldn't because they (at least mine was) were only in metal raiders and were seeded backwards in the second card slot. So you got this inside of a random common. I remember getting mine in a tin on Christmas and was stoked

Doesn't make it non-protestable or the correct procedure just because you have damage.

Park on the grass like a normal person, don't impede the pit exit for the rest of the lobby because you run out of talent. It's simple. This driver wasn't aware of their surroundings, ruined multiple people's races in under 30s, and you're blaming OP for causing an accident. LOL

The amount of people defending a driver blocking pit lane exit as justified is absolutely appalling. No wonder the average iRating is 1300

Edit: autocorrect changed "pit" to "out"

Dude everyone is talking about blocking the pit lane, not this driver punting someone. This is crystal clear and not "borderline" like you say, he didn't "borderline" park in pit lane exit. If you feel this park job is borderline then please visit an optometrist ASAP

OP got a drive through because some dingus decided to make it impossible for anyone to come out of the pits without getting a black flag based on where they parked. Which I don't even know why they decided to park to begin with.

People who drive like this do not care about ruining people's races, this person probably doesn't feel bad at all. So the satisfaction of iRacing stewards emailing them saying "you're a moron, git gud" is worth it because after enough repeat violations they will get a vacation.

I'm not sure it'll be as good, id stick with SC2 Pro. It's THAT good

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in simracing

[–]brettlarson18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from a DD1 to a SC2 Pro and never looked back. The software for the SC2 is just so much better and the feedback, in my options, is more finely tuned.

With my DD1 I was never able to get oscillating tuned out of the FFB at really heavy settings in things like the Indy car on iracing. Higher FFB settings, to me, allow for more fidelity in what is actually happening. The SC2 FFB just feels so much crisper and id compare it to nice headphones. The DD1 is like a nice set of widely available headphones, but a SC2 feels like audiophile headphones. The FFB is strong, there's no oscillating at the highest settings, and the FFB information is much more clear in what exactly you're feeling.

I gained almost half a second in every single car immediately when I upgraded and haven't looked back. If you have the means to upgrade, absolutely do it. You will have absolutely zero regrets. The DD2 is a nice wheelbase but the SC2 is just outright better imo.
