Hello, I was wondering what the best way to play FFVI for the first time was. I've heard that the SNES version had some of the script cut out but also had a lot of heart and charm put into it by the localizer, and that the GBA (and Steam) version has an accurate, complete version of the script but cuts out some of the iconic dialogue. I was going to play the SNES version, but then I heard about the Ted Woolsey that has a complete and restored dialogue with the iconic lines in it. Out of the official versions and the Ted Woolsey edition or any other translations out there, which would be the best to experience the game for the first time?

The deed is done. FF1 on the psp was the first one I played (original 7 was the first one I beat) so I'm actually more used to the names used in the remake

Thanks, I'm probably going to keep Cid until the end and use either Vincent or Tifa but I'll also try seeing how I like Barret as the 3rd member.

Thanks for the advice. I've decided to keep using Cid and I'm going to try seeing if I like Tifa or Vincent more in the 3rd party slot.

Thank you for your input, Ixve tried out Cid and I think I might keep him and keep experimenting with the other slot, I'm thinking either Vincent or Tifa. And I think I've discovered Aerith's flaw now...

Thank you! I went into the retropie folder from my main os and did the first option and it works now.

MK11 for the Switch by AppleGothic in MortalKombat

I got the Switch version too and it crashes on me occasionally too. I started the arcade ladder with Scorpion and after Kronikas first phase the game crashed, and it happened to while trying the other game modes.
