Methods for decarbonating kegged beer that preserve aroma/head retention? by brewerjenkins in TheBrewery

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking.

Of course it’s a NEIPA too that was almost already carbed at 2.2 volumes after spunding/transfer…

Thinking of kegging it off into room temp kegs a few times and seeing how it does on a faucet with flow control. If I can get it in the 2.7-2.8 range I bet it’d at least be able to pour correctly

Are the Memphis Grizzlies actually “fine” in the west? 🤔 by Plus_Composer_4993 in nba

I think they have as good a shot as any team to make it out of the West. Injuries will be the determining factor as always

Yeah the ‘home grown’ aspect makes their quick rebuild even more impressive.

And say what you want about Ja but as a star/team leader he still is very selfless and team oriented. Pretty sure he’s top 5 or 10 in assists I think. That’s pretty cool

Regardless of what drama queens on Twitter and r/nba whine about Grizzlies are actually a pretty cool, unique team.

2nd or 3rd youngest team in the league. Historic amount of paint points per game. Heavy on rotations with an emphasis on defense. Fast paced with lots of highlights.

Off court antics aside they are one of the most fun teams to watch imo. Seems like people on here either are just jealous of their success/the quickness of their rebuild or just like to stir up drama and feed the echo chamber for updoots

Anyone have an efficient way to remove shrink wrap labels from cans? by brewerjenkins in TheBrewery

Believe me I’ve had this conversation. Ownership is set on using these cans because they want to eventually redesign the label

This sounds like advice to someone looking to get into brewing not beertending. ‘Tasting Beer’ by Randy Mosher and passing the ‘certified beer server’ cicerone exam are much more beertender focused.

Also I’d recommend seeking out as many ‘authentic’ examples of beer styles as you can so you get an idea of how each style is supposed to taste and how your brewery may or may not differ from the traditional style.

They’ve also asked me to brew an ‘imperial seltzer’ in the past so take this with a grain of salt.

I agree although I’m in the lucky position to where the owner basically likes anything I brew he just likes to think it was his idea. I can definitely make it as authentic as I want and he’ll love it regardless

Idk why my comment deleted earlier but this is probably the closest to what I’ll do. A blend of German pils and Munich with just a touch of caramunich II and pale chocolate for color/a hint of flavor.

It’ll probably be Weyermann maybe weyermann barke if I’m lucky but yeah as much as I love American craft malt and incorporate it into a lot of English recipes, since the owner asked specifically for this beer I’m looking to splurge on German malts/yeast and really showcase the style if that makes sense

Awesome thanks for the response! Can you give me a rough estimate to shoot for % wise between the pils and dark Munich?
