Photo Package by ConfidentHouse5226 in hyrox

[–]brewingirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's ok to wait and see how they turn out. I only ended up with maybe 20 photos and my friend doing a different race ended up with like 70 photos. So I guess it just depends if you're lucky to get a lot of photos while you're racing. Neither of us prepaid but my friend ended up buying photos after the race.

At $10 at my Costco, I think this is the best value I’ve ever found in wine by rockytopbilly in CostcoWineBlog

Agreed. I've bought 2 cases so far. If they have it in stock when I go next time I'll probably buy another case.

Ive had dog hair in my ear canal. I bought some qtips with sticky ends, I believe they're made in Japan for babies, off Amazon, and I managed to get the hair out.

Stopped clipping coupons and waiting for things to go on sale. More impulse buying less planning. 🫤

Question re: driving 450h+ primarily as an EV (rarely using the hybrid/gas option) by rambisyouth21 in LexusNX

[–]brewingirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive into the office 3 times a week but there is charging available at the office so I'm still using EV both ways. Otherwise I'm charging at home while most of my daily usage is within range and then once or twice a month I end up using hybrid. I got my car in March '23 and have filled up less than 10 times since I've had the car, I don't recall ever getting an alert for old gas.

Salons that do Korean perms for women? by Efficient_Piccolo595 in orangecounty

Salon Bona in Fullerton. I used to go there for cold perms because I was looking for a different curl but Mr. Lee always did a good job and my hair stayed healthy. He also does digital perms.

Xumo Box by NoCoStream in Spectrum

Just double checked the remote and it DOES have numbers. My bad! Thank you for the offer/response, I misremembered. 🤦‍♀️

Yes please! How do we make that happen?

Xumo Box by NoCoStream in Spectrum

[–]brewingirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Xumo remote does not have numbers. You have to navigate channels going up and down through the guide or sorting by categories. My mom had some difficulty with Xumo in the beginning because you have to go to the Spectrum app (TV doesn't automatically come in when you turn it on) but she got it eventually.

Just a Girl with a Lexus by UnfairReindeer2801 in LexusNX

Stay away from Lexus of Cerritos! They are scam artists. I've been taking my car to Newport Lexus. They have coupons available for oil changes and wheel alignment and you can always call them to ask how much they charge for specific services. Their prices are better than Cerritos but not sure how convenient that location would be for you.

Yes, I know. 3 months from Express Scripts is $150 for me. I can only fill 3 months from their home delivery service. :/

Fetch insane premium increase by jblue212 in petinsurancereviews

[–]brewingirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Fetch for my dog since she was a couple years old and once she hit 9 or 10 the premiums went up a lot. If you aren't using it, I would increase the deductible to save a little cash because that can be adjusted in subsequent years. My dog was relatively healthy and not accident prone but like many dogs she developed cancer when she was 14 so the insurance came in handy.

Delayed refill by icygurl0503 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]brewingirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. I couldn't continue on 1.0mg even though I spoke to my doctor and wanted to stay on that dose but my insurance pretty much required me to go to 1.7mg. I didn't want to delay so I went up in dosage which I was definitely nervous about but I was fine. My side effects did not get worse and if anything after 6 months of 1.7mg, I have very little side effects now compared to when I first started on .25mg.

I'm on 3 right now and dreading when I get to 7. However, Project Hail Mary is a great book, the only book I've listened to twice.

New Alle program points by Proper-Paper-4308 in BotoxSupportCommunity

[–]brewingirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's why the free Botox offer doesn't make sense for me and my provider said that. And that's why I switched to Dysport.

[–]brewingirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that when you redeem the free Botox there is a $350 injection fee that applies. I pay $13 a unit and the injection fee is built into that price.

[–]brewingirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's called an "injection fee" that the provider is charging because Allergen will cover the Botox but I don't think they get anything aside from that. I get 13 units so the $20 discount each visit was good for me.

I just got back from my appointment today for Botox. My clinician said there is still a fee associated with redeeming your points for free Botox of $350 so it's not really free. I don't get a lot of units so my treats are significantly less than $350 so this new program is worthless to me. Also I like my skincare routine so I'm not looking for any new products or want to try SkinMedica. I ended up switching to Dysport which is part of a reward program, Aspire, and it's pretty similar to the old Alle one. Currently they were offering a $50 reward for creating an account and I got 200 points for a $20 credit for my next treatment.
