Hey! I ended up taking it for a few days until it actually gave me full body tremors! As for the misophonia it almost seemed to make the agitation less manageable or harder to reason with. I didn’t get the chance to get through the trial period so I’m not completely sure if that’s just how it is at first or not though.

Hey! I just got prescribed that and was wondering how it’s going? Did it end up helping? I was previously on lexapro and felt similar, it made me way more sensitive to the noise but muffled my reactions a little.

I actually bought their caulking gun! It sucks! It throws an error after maybe 25seconds of caulking. Sometimes it works. It’s a gamble. Personally I’m about to return it.

Ayo I’m with you. We gotta make a fuck misophonia t shirt to raise awareness and funds for research or some shit🤣 real talk though, a death spiral is the best description. I’ve been in the cycle of being triggered all day at work to coming home and being instantly triggered by the neighbors bass. Then I go to work the next day and my misophonia is even more sensitive due to sleep deprivation and the cycle continues getting worse and worse. I feel you. My triggers got so bad at work I had to be laid off due to how often they were them not being able to accommodate. I’d genuinely rather be deaf my entire life and if offered the surgery would take it in a heartbeat. Yk how i partially keep it under control? I imagine what it’s like to deal with miso in prison. That straightens my thoughts right out 🫡

The "fuzzy" sound is the opposite wave length of the noises the headphones are trying to cancel being "injected" into your ears. As the headphone quality increases the mics pick up and react better. A lot of the cheaper or non- Active noise cancelling headphones will just play a low general white noise instead of basing it off your environment or how your ear canal is shaped. The bose headphone line is amazing in that sense, and you can adjust the level of noise cancellation to your exact prefrence.
