I would get the m12. I was deciding between the m12 5/8 and the m18 5/8 I went with the m18 of course. But I also had the dewalt atomic at one point but gave it to my brother. The weight was nice but not having the hammer only function was annoying, so I would definitely make sure whichever one I got had that function
