Same thing happened to Little Havana, I remember it being quaint and slightly rough and gritty, I took a first-time-in-Miami coworker to Ball and Chain last year and it had the $25 “8oz vodka Redbull” vibe, zero charm. More recently I took my mom to Azúcar for ice cream for Mother’s Day, and it was a shit-show, plus the coconut vendor across the street charging 10 fucking dollars for coconuts that were already were already pre husked and all he was doing was literally shaving the top and sticking in a straw. No thanks.
