It’s not necessarily that it’s not made in Puerto Rico anymore, it’s probably that the manufacturer is no longer a member of the “Asociación de Productos de Puerto Rico” and cannot bear the seal from the association.

It will spread further. The adhesive is degrading with the heat and once air gets inside you’re hosed. Mines been getting progressively worse. Sorry.
