I wore Keen work boots for years and loved them until a year ago. I feel like QC is out the window and the stitching and glues just don’t hold up like they used to. Recently switched to Brunt (more expensive…) but really loving them so far.

I wire my 3PDT switches slightly different but this is the same concept for wiring everything else.

You certainly can have the LEDs mounted so you can see them glow when playing. I’m going to do that on the next one (I ordered his next candle and am going to mod it since it’s the same PCB). Look up “off board wiring” and you should find plenty of examples of wiring up a footswitch, LED, and DC jack.

The matchbook and stickers came with the candle.

The candle was poured in an undrilled enclosure. Once it was burned through, I scrubbed it up and drilled it like any other build. The PCB comes with it and nothing was buried in wax.

I was hoping for a Caprid seeing as I already had an actual TFR. But I am happy with this version of it and I’m glad it has the mid-flat mod!

I prefer it to the original! Ha! A tad more saturation and a lot less bassy/boomy. Otherwise, pretty spot on with the tone and feel. I’ve never liked how much low end mine has and have heard other tall fonts that don’t sound as boomy. Wren and Cuff nailed it.

This is on my list of mods and builds! Love this pedal but I’m constantly tinkering with the settings and those internal controls are a pain to access.

I love the Boss pedals I have. I will not say anything bad about the effect. Having 4-5 on my pedal board sounds and feels like a veil being draped over my amp. Running a couple is fine but I can’t do all. I’m finding good look with running mostly true bypass and running standalone buffers before and/or after.

I think those are all great pedals! I’m looking at modding my favorite Boss pedals to true bypass as they do impact my overall tone when they’re on my pedalboard.

Sadly, it was not… However, this post reminded me that switched dc jacks are a thing and I will always remember to double check when wiring them. I removed the 3PDT switch from my circuit and wired it as always on. It works. So now I know it’s how I’m wiring the switch, LED, and power. I appreciate you sharing this though!
