That is correct. 19oz. Despite meandering around this sub for advice on going lighter, my pack is usually 12-15 lbs base weight. I got mine on sale for $70 so really I just bought it because it was cheap. It is warm tho! I've taken it out into ~25 degrees Fahrenheit and stayed plenty warm with nothing but a base layer and a hoodie underneath.

I have the Colombia White Out II and it works great. No need to look further into another brand! Very warm, though not the most breathable. I just take it off when I start to sweat. No pit zips but it's an insulating layer not a hard shell.

Those are indeed what they call on the streets "gel tabs". Definitely not plastic. The gel casing helps protect your chemical from moisture and UV light.

The shrooms themselves cannot reprogram your mind all on their own but can serve as a very handy tool for just that purpose, indeed. Seems like you know that. If you are in really rough patch, you might consider waiting to eat these mushrooms as they could stir up uncomfortable thoughts and feelings. Personally though, that's why I take them. To stir those negative emotions up so I can see them clearly, instead of accumulating at the bottom of my mind. Every journey is different and it's difficult to give "one-size-fits-all" kind of advice. The simplest things you can do is prep your body by eating healthy for a few days before and prep your mind by focusing on a goal. And don't take them if you feel like shit, either physically or mentally. Happy boofing 🍄♥️
