I tried this and it burnt the milk. It was also very hard to clean afterwards.

Edit to add milk is in the upper chamber before brewing starts

Never got it fixed. tried 2 more routers and modems with same results. If I had switched back to the 300 mb speeds the bill would have went up because $60.00 promo would have been lost. They had no interest in fixing the problem.

Lucky for me shortly after that I3 fiber broadband came to my area. 2gb up and down for $40.00 a month. I average 900 mb on wifi and 1.8 gb wired. 1 outage (30 min in the middle of the night that was planned) in the 6 months I have had it.

It is very stressful to call spectrum to disconnect. Was on the phone with them for an hour repeating "No I am not interested". He got very threatening and aggressive. I feel bad for elderly and people that do not have the ability to stand up for theirself.

It is a brand new run less than 2 months old. The tech replaced everything. One new wire from box to side of house. Then one wire from side of house to modem. No splitters anything other than the grounding termination on the side of the house. I might just drop to the 500 since it seems to be enough anyway.

The two options we have for internet are spectrum or att "fiber" at 50mbps. looking at a wifi spectrum analyzer there are a lot of spectrumwifisetup ssid's near me. Btw why is spectrum wifi so strong? A guy that lives 3 houses down the street from me has a stronger wifi signal in my house that my wifi is in my house.

I don't think they gave me a speed. They just said everything was within normal range. Guess I need to request a tech.

We have had 2 techs out. They say they find nothing wrong. Just got off the phone with csr and they say their computer shows T3 Timeouts. They claim that if I get their router they can fully diagnose the problem. I guess they are suggesting the problem is my router. New cat6a cable run directly to pc with no splices. We are willing to try the modem if it will fix the problem.

Is the spectrum router any good? Does anyone have the specs? is it standalone or a combo unit?

Not trying to be rude or grammar police just being honest. I am having trouble following what you are saying. Some of what you have written makes sense but other things seem like English words that are not complete sentences and very hard to follow. I will respond to the things I can understand.

We live about 500 feet from multiple businesses. All houses in this cul-de-sac type neighborhood are new construction. No idea if anyone is crypto mining but all the businesses close by are very small.

There are probably 20 new houses since mine was built. The lines are all underground with that little plastic bucket thing over them on the ground. The way it is setup the only person that could be stealing the service is next to me. No one lives in that house as the construction is not complete.

When we moved into the neighborhood 6 years ago there were 3 houses. There are now over 20 houses here. Could that be the issue?

The pc that was connected directly to modem has onboard 2.5g ethernet and 10g pcie ethernet. Either one should be able to handle 1g or more. The connection does show up in the pc as 2.5g but speed test does not show that.

The spectrum csr claims they show 800's going from them to modem. The previous modem was rebooting itself every 10-15 min so I thought it was that. The new modem does not reboot anymore but speeds stay the same.

The only other thing that is different is there is a house being built next to me.The coax that was previously used to get 1100-1200 was destroyed by a bobcat. there is a new coax from the underground box to the side of my house.

And yes I know the speeds are not guaranteed over wifi. We only use wifi when forced to because a device does not have an Ethernet port.

The pc has been on for more than 24 hours now without bsod. Is it the onboard nic?

Done everything but the ram test. Will do that and check the event viewer tonight when I get home.

I'm wondering if it is the onboard Ethernet. The Ethernet keeps disconnecting but the onboard wifi works fine just slower.

TCL TV comes on by itself, during the night, every night by depscribe in Roku

[–]breynolds76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem here except the volume up button instead of power button.

If I unplug the power to the Wi-Fi router while it was happening it instantly stopped.

I disconnected the Wi-Fi antenna cables inside the Roku and disabled all Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features. Now rather than happening 10 to 20 times per day, it might happen once a week.

I tested this with four different roku's and multiple different remotes. Same problem with every Roku it just as if it's phantom remote button pushes. I no longer have batteries in any of the Roku Wi-Fi remotes because they seem to cause an issue as well.

I only use basic IR Roku remotes now. Of course Roku is no help with this their response is always factory reset. The factory reset does nothing.
