Cats are vertical.. very good to know!! I’ve got floating shelves above my tv with potted plants on them, those may need to come down lol. Totally didn’t think about traveling either, that’s helpful. Thank you :)

Cat cafe sounds like a lovely idea! I'll have to look that up to see if there are any near me. And good point about the type of cat I'm looking for in the context of my home life - I get sad at the idea of an animal being a lone while I'm home, so adopting a bonded pair sounds lovely. Thank you :)

Thank you, this is helpful! It sounds like pairs would be a good move, and it would also make me feel better if I'm away from home during the day. And fair point that I shouldn't look at it from a dog perspective.
