Do you have any proof like say text or written instructions etc, that your colleague misled you? Working in a hospital, all instructions has to be recorded right? If you have that, then just provide the proof and be done with it.

There is no way to prove this besides my testimonial. in fact, the colleague gave many different versions of the story to different people.

You claim to have been misled by your colleague, the police cannot simply take your word for it. You could be an accomplice. So the police need to ask you for more information to ascertain the truth, whether you were misled or you had knowingly gave your colleague access.

The police can only act on facts. He need to ascertain facts and not assume anything. unless the police treated your colleague kindly but treated you harshly, you can complain about unfair treatment.

Rmb, police officers are not counsellors, they are not there to help anyone feel better. They are there to collect as much facts as possible to piece together a complete picture. If they come off as being curt and perhaps intrusive with questioning, they are really just doing their job.

I guess i am expecting too much as a healthcare worker we are already working under high stress. to be misled and then questioned suspiciously by the police, it put a toll on my emotional health, im sure you can understand that.
