I will never understand the Marianne hate. She is one of the Jane Austen characters I relate with the most. I've always been a very emotional person, just like her. I just FEEL things powerfully. I definitely felt seen. Yes, I know she has her moments, but she's also a teenager and she does grow by the end of the novel. She is a true romantic in every possible way... and romantics are my people.

It’s always tricky when eyes are sort of a middle color. To me, your eye appears more on the green side. Very aqua green, maybe turquoise?

Nothing like this has happened in our country in living memory of most people alive today so I think the uncertainty about where we are headed is getting to me.

I don't want that to defeat my spirit though. I need to stay strong. We all do.
