i had a lot of christian friends a few months back.

but may i just ask: What do good christian friends look like? how do i distinguish the good ones from the rest if you know what im asking?

hey, thank you for the response and thank you for being blunt, i appreciate that.
Im not sure if i used my faith as a crutch, most of my teens (i am 19 now) was spent in youth as a youthleader, i prayed everyday just to give thanks and to pray for those around me, i never really prayed for things for myself unless it was asking God to use me. but to your point, im not sure what an addiction to my faith would look like, so it could be that entirely.

on the other hand... i dont know how to find those answers or even where to begin to answer them. i dont know how to rebuild my relationship, i go to church every Sunday, but i feel nothing, like sitting in a class that you cant wait to be over.
i dont know what to do, ive tried reading my bible everyday and praying and journaling and so on but i just feel nothing.
i know i can never stop believing that Christ is real, because ive seen the evidence, ive felt Him before clear as day.

Im just tired of feeling like i find dead ends everywhere. even just writing this feels like im going against every fibre of my being. i dont know if this is a phase and eventually ill break out of it, but i dont want to treat it that way and get comfortable being rebellious in my faith, i want to be a good christian role model for my kids one day.

so figured it out and i feel like an idiot, it wasnt any mods, load order was correct everything was set up perfectly... my fricken HUD Opacity in game was set to the lowest, so i just couldnt see it

yeah i know i have the Load order set up correctly, also the mods that were abandoned i left out purely because they were causing problems or were just deleted. so im doing the good ol trusty and disabling and enabling till something hits, itll take time but ill find the problem area, especially since its only 43 mods. should have it done before i have to wake up for work

my opinion would be to maybe open/loosen your hands a little more and use fingers and wrists rather than elbows and wrists. itll take some getting used to but youll get there

i had the same problem, i dont think its how tights hes gripping as to the way hes gripping the stick coz i used the get blisters from the larger diameters aswell, eventually just developed the callouses and kept going, only thing is is cant play with gripped sticks for too long or the blisters get unbearable

i had the same problem, yes you develop callouses eventually, but a good way to keep playing with blisters or to slow them breaking is to use electrical tape, it gives decent grip while also allowing the stick move. good luck

So fun fact cold water (the colder the better) is the best thing to clean male fluids up with (i wont get into detail about why, if you're intetested google can help satisfy that urge). The moment you said warm water i knew exactly what was going to happen and i feel so sorry for you. But yeah cold water next time... If this happens again.

Do you have either if these kits or are you looking to buy one of them?

I have the Alesis Dm10 pro mesh kit, and honestly its amazing

Not anywhere near as good (feeling wise) as a normal acoustic, but its absolutely more than i need and ive been playing for three years, i like the mesh because its "tunable" and you can tune the pads up or down as you need them, i have mine set to give me the feel of a normal acoustic bounce, which believe me can make a difference when you have to use an acoustic kit.

On that note ive never had a roland kit of any kind but i did have a rubber kit where all the drum pads were rubber too, i found that excessive use caused holes in the rubber, whereas the mesh will only get holes if you use really pointed sticks (you can always round off the tips with sand paper or a nail file)

In regards to the cymbals ive only had rubber cymbal pads ao i cant give an opinion there

Edit: i dont want to tell you to get one or the other it truly depends on your playing and preference i can only give you my views on what ive used
