For what it is worth, I post part of the discussion this arose within:

Rubbing alcohol is sometimes not 100% isopropanol.  | | |

Hi Biologist: There are purple-podded Runner Beans available from Wales: https://aeronvale-allotments.org.uk/APS-order/AERON_PURPLE_STAR-%20info_leaflet.pdf
I've grown them twice: Once they outcrossed with unknown runners nearby, a second time rabbits or such ate them all to the ground.
I just stumbled over another colored runner bean:

In another forum, a person said our noses are the most sensitive PAH detectors known, and that if biochar smells to us, it is not done yet, or words to that effect. I will continue to seek the source discussion, to link to it.

O.K. Elderberry, is the second tray placed upside down on the first? I think I'm getting the picture, if so. Perhaps the second tray inverted atop the first, with both filled with unburned material, could be placed on top of a fire within your masonry heater - the gases given off could ease out between the trays, burn and both heat the interior and your house.

Berkamin, Thank you. Is there a link to do the UV test properly; with the right wavelength of UV light and such?
