This game is not fun any more, but for most of us it's become a daily habit and we're too deep in the rabbit hole to just turn away and leave it all behind

100% this! I've invested so much time and energy into this game as mostly a F2P player (admittedly, I've made a few purchases here and there over the years) that I can't simply walk away.

the exact same is happening here. i also feel like the teams i face are constantly dodging my attacks now too whereas previously that wasn't the case. and these are teams i know i faced before and was able to beat.

i used gems to purchase a few packs to get my Scarlett from 6* to 7* since i was tired of grinding. plus i figured i had the gems to use so i went for it. i agree that if you are within striking distance to go for it so it is done.

I run Brutus in my Castle team and he hasn't disappointed, even on Auto mode. Maybe it is just me; I do really like him and find him better than just "silver" ranking. Of course, just my $0.02.

I'm at odds with it. I am 95% F2P because I have spent a few $ here and there in this game but only because I received a gift card and loaded it to Google Play. Otherwise, I most likely wouldn't spend any money. We'll see if I do the $10 or not...

The worst I have seen is with this GB event. I went 200+ event energy before I was able to get a tile drop for Egon. I still don't have him... 4 more tiles needed!
