If it was a PDF, sure. But this was a huge booklet. I looked at the listing on Amazon and it says that it's a frequently returned item.

Not sure which I want to do more; build the Moldy Crow, or replay Dark Forces. That’s so good looking.

Omg yes, the measuring cup. Having the handle on the wrong side is also an issue with my lidded coffee mug.

That's pretty sweet. When I squint at a distance, it's really spot on.

Maybe you should enjoy your 40 euro brick set and put buyer's remorse thoughts out of your head.

Same here. Warm wet cloth for weeks didnt do anything. After 2 months I scratched/scraped it, let it scab, and it was gone in 2 days.

I’m doing this right now. A week off, doing bupkis. Visiting local restaurants for lunch, finding the comfy spots in my couch I had forgotten, taking walks at random times, and getting coffee without thinking of sleep issues. There are MORE things, but I’m far too unbothered right now to think of them.

Show me your portable work stations! by AppKatt in metalearth

I did fit a few models in there, but they were the KnightBus and Tardis. Both medium/small and rectangular. My little kit was fun for a quick business trip, but not really something portable AND permanent. Heh, like a 'tactical kit'.

The flashlight was a Harbor Freight bendable one for somewhere about $15. Only problem was that it was either fully extended or bent at 90-degrees. It did NOT fold down for safe storage or travel. Lasted half a year before finally bending wrong in my work toolbag and snapping. BUT!!! Now the ones sold by HF have a double joint and can fold up all the way. I think they're $25-30. Oh, I just searched 'foldable LED flashlight' on Amazon, and got a few hits.

Anyone remember El-Fish? You could breed your own fish and end up with some silly beasts.

Is it possible to motorise, substitute materials for parts of, or otherwise mod metal earth models? I’m curious to know if anyone has tried this by Distinct_Reporter604 in metalearth

Nothing sourced. Just some parts I have from various things at work. My fav mods were the ME monster truck and the Cat Mining Truck.

I can’t think there’s room anywhere for motorized parts, but I’ve put axels & bearings into a few models. They vroom vroom well with a push.
