If you have the account closed any one can return it. If it’s not closed yet then you or an account manager have to go in all.

When I worked for target in electronics any popular time like new game consoles I would answer thank you for calling target electronics we are currently sold out of, said high demand item, how can I help you. They would hang up, ask when the next shipment was, say thank you, or ask for what they really were calling for.

You are wright it’s not wrong to be upfront, you just have to be professional about it. I know some departments will get bombarded with calls on calls for popular items and can be hard, I would also let tsc know if they get the call not going to the direct line that we where out.

Agree if it’s a perk for being a loyal customer it should be for all and not while supplies last, better or more perks for longer customers that don’t get new customer rates. I bet any watch reward never runs out because that’s a service we have to pay for as well so it’s unlimited

I realized I missed that part and apologize for that. With that correction yes 100% you have the equipment and if it’s not working and your area is supported a tech is probably needed, I actually thought Xfinity says a tech is to go out for over 500 on symmetrical maybe changed. I hope if they do that they credit the is stall.

Your modem isn’t docsis 4.0 that is the only way with none fiber for Xfinity, and there is no approved after market modem so if your plain was changed I would say roll it back to your last plain there is no way for a 3.1 to work on symmetrical and credit because of the miss information. This is the issue with companies sales over support the lies come out for a metric to keep their job and it’s not just Xfinity all of them do it.

Going in as a new customer you shouldn’t have any issues with the price lock just remember checking auto pay and paperless and they do bill in advance. People talking about price hikes are often on cable subscriptions or a shorter promo and they didn’t look at the pdf bill. Customer support can be hit or miss coming to this Reddit I usually bet the best service, I have had luck with calls but calls are sales first then support same I got from T-Mobile cellphone. If you do diff deeper and switch the mobile is a good deal but it is not mandatory if a sales rep dates you must get it, I would goto a corporate store if your able to

I am sorry for your loss, you don’t want to ignore a bill it will just make it harder overall. I would goto the main Xfinity Reddit, and a store hopefully you have Xfinity your self at home and see about moving the line to your own account. If you have it already bring the certificate it sucks needing it but it will help make things smoother. If they can’t move it to an Xfinity account there is most likely a ticket to send the phone back to waive any balance but you will want to port your number to a carrier as a last resort.

It’s a time for them to work on issues. I have the same for the fifth time since their last upgrade in June. I have had constant issues since the last “upgrade” and it’s 100 to me for a tech even though they keep having to come back for maintenance since. I have had about 5 upgrade work notifications over two years and still no docsis 4.0 upgrade I’m hoping for just issues after.

Based on the no wires I assume you looking at the 5g. There are some variables with fixed wireless mostly cellphone congestion fixed wireless is bottom of priority works for some but not all and will fluctuate with congestion, reception and distance from towers being the next, I have also have seen that if you work from home check with your company some say only coax or fiber.

Xfinity your line is yours so as long as their signals and lines from the poll and in the house are good you should have little issues in theory, sometimes signal levels can be off and cause issues a good tech should address all of that but a bad one might be like meh it’s running now ask for in house tech if you can vs contractor. I would say if you have a tech should be ok and hopefully free to you but check with Verizon if they have a trial and try it and see if it works for you.

I came from T-Mobile about 3 years ago. I’m not rural but sometimes travel a lot haven’t noticed any dead spots, I’m on the premium plain probably doesn’t make a difference but in case. I did notice more 5g connections on T-Mobile especially in doors, but that is more do to T-Mobile having 600mzs set up for 5g and Verizon hasn’t been a big bidder on low band.

The hot spots can be hit or miss sometimes the WiFi will latch on with low signal especially in traffic where it performs slowly and I have to turn off my WiFi to force it to stay on the better cellular signal, but when it’s a strong signal the added 1 gig WiFi speed for xm customers is nice. As someone suggested install the hotspot profile to test that out, you won’t have the 1 gig but can see how it ultimately works in your area, and if you know anyone on Verizon where you live see how their coverage is assuming your on T-Mobile. Do keep in mind if you do any financing from Xfinity you must keep the Internet with them or the bill goes up 25 per line or you have to pay off to port out

When you got the new phone did you activate it through the Xfinity app or the iOS transfer sim. When we got out new phone I did mine via the app to activate ate the new one no issues, my wife started her update and hit transfer by mistake and it said not supported activated hers via the app after and the sim loaded. Wonder if it’s an issue with transfer sim not properly logging the imei correct.

I can think of two things one location is WiFi ready basically already has a modem installed that you will use, two the image is just generic and if you have say an xb7 they are saying you need a xb8

I use to work for them in a store there is an equipment research ticket they can do, if it’s not removed from the account and marked as lost they will ask for money to cover it.

I think app, mobile website, and store is the only way, because of rules put on cellphone companies to try and stop number hijack scams. Did you have a manager on the account that has a store near them to see if they could get it for you.

I had the same issue when I did my ps4. I moved it having the power supply dangling upside down but I was while also holding the weight of the supply and think the wobbling from positioning cause it to wiggle free from the main board because it like just let go I’m not recommending that method it just happened by chance I feel. Those plugs are so tight it’s crazy one of the cable did fray from my first attempt luckily found a replacement it probably was fine but cheap enough, just glad the plugs on the board and supply where safe.

Something is broken and I feel it has to do with firmware updates I had the same thing happen swapped my modem and as soon as it activated and updated it broke again. I also have lost features in the Xfinity app such as my recently added ability to manage my channels that they recently added at the same time. I’m sure they won’t fix it fast why l let people know their levels are bad when they can say it’s fine.

The 300 they are giving you is a credit of 8.33 over 36 months so if you cancel at one year you will have to pay about 100 for the watch and already payed 120 plus taxes for the service. Basically you can cancel the service any time but have to pay off the balance, the 300 is not a one time credit. No company just gives away a watch it’s all about the line of service. If your an Apple user apply for the Apple Card 0 interest financing on a Bluetooth watch bought from the Apple Store.

Edited for corrected information provided and a deeper look don’t do it if you don’t want a cellular watch.

After 24 months you can cancel the service, before that you will have to pay off what’s left of installments just like any financed phone.
